This is very good. I tried using the red beans for my waakye since I got to Kurdistan Iraqi when I was missing my favorite and it worked perfectly also. I this I will try using the black eye beans. Tomorrow and see how it goes..

Looks amazing, can’t wait to try it. I just wondered with the salt peter, does it fully dissolve when you cook it this way? I’ve had waakye before where the salt grains are still present

It dissolves just add it first stir then add the beans and stir again it will dissolve perfectly 👍🙂

Well, that's the name we call it but I know some also calls it waakye and that's fine and if you are in Ghana you can ask the seller of your favourite waakye joint and you will understand why I call it that if you know you know 🙂👍 thanks for watching😍😘

Do you know that alot if people do not know that that is correct pronunciation? Those of us from the southern part Ghana has spoil the name so when you mention correctly they think you are wrong. Next time educate us while you are doing the video. No long talk bia
