Learn how to make a whipped wax topping that you can add to your candles! This technique can take your candle design skills to the next level. Whipped wax is a great addition for coffee and bakery inspired candles.
Hi! I used 10% fragrance for this, but 8-9% would also work well. This is CB2 wax, which is a coconut-soy blend that has really great scent throw! We have this wax & all the supplies on our website :)
Hi Meena, sorry to hear that! The wax can harden quickly after it is whipped, but you should be able to remelt it and try again. This post has more detailed instructions that might be helpful: madewithnorthwood.com/how-to-make-whipped-candle-wax/ I hope this helps!
I have not tried this with just paraffin, so I can't say for sure if it would work. The coconut wax blend is a softer wax than paraffin which helped get the results in the video.
You can definitely use beeswax to make the candles. I'm not sure how beeswax would work for making the whipped topping because beeswax is a hard wax, and the whipped topping works best with softer wax.
