Now this is ... a little odd. Months ago (or has it been a year already?) I started a Skyrim-inspired farm build including a windmill, which I put together using world edit fences and posts. When I ran into problems with a different part of the build which I couldn't solve at the time, I stopped working on it and kind of forgot about it. However, yesterday, I suddenly started thinking about it and decided I wanted to try and improve my windmill design and finally finish the build one way or another. And now you come along with these gorgeous creations (as always) which my puny windmill can't even shine a candle to! 😂 Coincidence? I believe not. The hive mind is real. 🐜🐝

You’re seriously starting to scare me, gurl. I was LITERALLY thinking about how to make a windmill about an hour ago. I’m shooooook. Always on it when I’m in the need for inspiration…. Well… It’s that then- you’re a Sim God, or a witch. Either way, it explains the absolute sorcery going on with your builds.

Thanks so much gorgeous! I spent all day today trying to do the landscaping but because I built a massive hill I have to place every object with TOOL hahah whoops I didn't think that through! It is fun though and I hope I can finish it soon!
That crazy cottage living challenge... woahhhh. That is crazy!! Imagine the dream home decorator version or eco lifestyle 😲😲 I started filming me cleaning out my cc folder and going through it in CAs. Idk if i'll ever do something with it but im a bit closer than i was before

Currently I'm in the countryside, one could say collecting inspiration.. :D I dug up some holes in the ground for my mom to plant some bushes in and boy did this city girl get a good night's sleep after all that 😆😅 I hope you're doing great and enjoying yourself building with the new pack

I feel you on not having the patience, I often wonder how I do lol but I think I have more patience for making objects than doing full on builds!
I appreciate your excitement over them! like I said in the video it takes time to select all the objects with TOOL and then position them properly for you guys to use them in builds so I"ll be finishing all the rooms up and posting them by later today (it's 1am for me so I'm going to bed and then I'll work on them when i wake up lol)
@@fantasims sorry just you are so amazing got great stuff from you that help me with my build I had A very bad time using cc and mods when i started the sims cost a lot to fix my PC so never use them again but rooms like yours and the art from the gallerey make building heaven thank you for all your hard work

Hello dear! I had a lot of trouble placing your shell for the challenge. The wall heights were too high so I couldn’t move it. I tried all of the option 2 uploads and finally was able to place it into a lot but I couldn’t move it soooo I’m just going to do my best lol
I"m so sorry love! It's the roofing, because of it, it places backwards on certain lots - are you talking about the little village one? That one places the right way on the 40x30 on the Windenburg Island or in Willow Creek. For some reason the roofing causes it to place backwards on some lots and the right way on other lots. the only other solution would be to delete the roofing and then you should be able to place it anywhere. I'm so sorry I didn't realize the roofing would cause so much trouble. If you don't want to delete the roofing and you are on PC you can always temporarily install Arnie's Pro Build mod and you can move the lot around however you like, then uninstall it. Next time I won't use that mod to make such tall roofing lol whoops!
I wish they could actually move and help you create power off the grid, that would be awesome lol but it's just decoration so it doesn't interfere with off the grid living :)
The Sims team missed out on the perfect opportunity to put old style windmills in the game. (Either full metal frame style, or Don Quixote style, if you know what I mean) Oh, and great job on building these! I don't have all packs involved, but still, they are very well done. 👍
Awe thanks heaps lovely! You can make something similar with the planks of wood from base game! I should make a base game one that anyone can use! But YES I agree, this would be the perfect world for some old fashioned windmills for sure!! I mean we have a ton of the modern metal ones in the different worlds already!
I'm not sure if there are any windmills and watermills in real life, but I was thinking that the windmill can help mill one type of grain, like wheat, and the watermill can grind up another type of grain like corn.....then if there is no wind for a day or several days, they can at least use the watermill to keep milling! lol
