Thanks a lot❗️I have a picture, got it from the Internet years, years ago and recently figuring about making it with the stash I accumulated. I Thank God, you are the answer. Thanks for sharing , that's perfect and beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
I am so glad I didn’t give up I have watched a multitude of hair making videos for adults looking for an easier way than everybody has been showing. I realize this video was posted a long time ago, but it is a treasure thank you so very very much.
I never thought to actually crochet the stitches at the part line! Brilliant! Thank you for sharing this technique. So much better than taping and sewing!!!
This was such a cool, quick method. I can't imagine why anyone would give this tutorial a thumbs down. I'll definitely be trying this method on my next doll. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing this video, I have nearly finished a large rag doll she is beautiful with lace all around her dress and apron, but I hadn't a clue how to do the hair' but now I do, this will be my weekend work. ❤. Linda
This is so easy and helpful; I'm using this method on my first machine-sewn plush doll (plus I'm learning embroidery and embroidering a realistic face myself). This is gonna make the hair really simple to deal with.
This was so helpful!! I have an adorable cloth babydoll I've made my daughter, but the yarn hair is KILLING me!! This looks like it will work so well! Thank you!
Wow thank you thank you thank you!! I’m sewing illiterate, I messed up sewing so much in my younger years and haven’t gotten the nerve to try again, but I’m a great crocheter. Why this never occurred to me I’ll never know, so thank you. I will use this method so much. I have paid someone to sew wefts and had to cut them how I wanted them. But this!! I am so very grateful.
This is a great tutorial but idk how much yarn to put on the book to measure the dolls head so it will fit perfectly on her and not be too big or small :/
You could trim the inside pages of your book if it's an old one your not bothered about so that you have a space to place your hook, that way you can wrap the yarn tight around the book. Great way of doing a wig for a doll, I will definitely be trying this technique thanks for sharing. 😘
thank you for showing how too make a wig using yarn, I tried this method yesterday ,i measured 5 inches, then i ted off, but when i took t off it the book it was a lot longer, do you have a tip on how too do the measurements correctly and thicker ,thank you xx
Amei.. fiquei de boca aberta , não sabia dessa tática de fazer cabelos ,faço muito bonecas mas nunca vi essa forma de fazer, genial, parabéns,vivendo e aprendendo né
So many kinds of yarns and very confused at the store I just stood there like an idiot, which one should I get :-) thanks for free and amazing tutorial:-) :-) :-)
