Thanks Alan. I really like the idea of desaturating all the colors and adding them back in. I may definitely have to give that a try. I so rarely adjust colors separately, so I need to get into the habit.
Blues and purples have a way of sneaking into logs, branches, and grays - sometimes dialing those back really simplifies the image and emphasizes the more dominant colors. Glad this helped!
