Back in olden days (1970's) we had the same thing, but operated by a cable. To be frank, I'd be more comfortable with a cable, not going to fail. Big negative on your setup is ground clearance
Have you had any reliability issues with this??? I know the temps range from 800-1200 F coming out of that Cat. That motor can't be too happy with those heatsoaks.
How does that sound different from the stock exhaust valves? I want to switch my 392 back to simple straight pipe, but it will still have the valves. The cutouts I'm sure sound heavier, cuz they're near the front yeah? Cool video!
The stock ones are a restriction in the exhaustion in the exhaust system that open into the systems these open outside bypassing the mufflers and resonators, although in this case the mufflers I think were deleted.
7:44 - 8:29 😂 nah does not sound good sounds like someone chop the cats off next time just put the cut outs behind the rear mufflers put in the cut outs next to the catalytic converter‘s this causes you to lose horsepower the exhaust is not catching back pressure 🙁
