Please doc, how long will it take for you to say your period is irregular. My period was regular for three months after my chemo treatment for breast cancer. But it has changed and for two months now it’s irregular. Is it sometime I should worry about? God bless you for your education every time

Sorry to hear about diagnosis, I hope you are feeling better now! Once your cycle length does not fall within the 21 to 35 days, it is irregular. Post-chemotherapy, predicting return of regular cycle length is difficult. It depends on your age, menstrual history, hormone levels, and treatment dosages. It may take months to 2 years for your period to come back after chemo. Sending you virtual hugs!

Hi when was the first day you saw your period in December?, that would be day 1 of your period, until the day before you saw your next period in January, the number of days in between first day u saw ur period in Dec and the last day before your next period in Jan will be your cycle length, please find time and watch Dr Ijeoma’s videos, she’s explained so well, take your time and watch the videos over and over again until you will understand, best of luck 🤞

@@favouralelo5906 last seen date is not counted, you start from counting the first day u see your period until the last day before the start of your next period, that’s ur cycle, so if 26 January was your last day, when was the first day u started ur period ?
