@@parthpandit8170 You Need a laptop with CD Driver, Just You need to replace the CD Driver with An SSD Caddy, (There are many videos on RU-vid of Refference) Then You have to merge your Windows with the SSD you're good to go
@@Rohitkumar-hk5in yes, maine pehle laptop new lene ka decision liya tha but maine chance liya HDD ko replace karne ka or mujhe new laptop ki need nhi padi, hardware ki wajah se kuch update nhi hote lekin jo use karne ka experience tha wo completely change ho gya, 30000 k new laptop se better h 3000 ki SSD ko use karna.
You are partially correct here coz - 1. The CD drive data transfer rate is usually slower than that of hard disk's (due to lower bandwidth of CD drive) 2. To get the max performance replace the HDD with SSD and CD drive with the removed HDD This config will give max performance And the thing required is known as Caddy
Mam i really didn't understand what I have to put in My laptop which chip is that can you please tell me because you did it so I'm asking nothing personal
ACTUALLY I DID THE SAME WAY BEFORE WATCHING THIS VIDEO AND THIS FORMULA ACTUALLY WORKS. MY LAPTOP WHICH USE TO TAKE 5 MINS LITERALLY 5 MINUTES FOR JUST STARTING NOW TAKES JUST 3 SECS FOR STARTING. THANKS TO SSD.
remove cd drive add a ssd add more ram get your laptop cleaned from inside and outside install a fresh copy of windows select high performance mode (battery will drain faster than usual) or just use your laptop while charging
As this trick mostly for old laptops, hence most old laptops (bios) don't support booting from the the DVD drive interface. So you have to put the HDD in the place of DVD drive using a caddy and put an SSD in the SATA interface place from where that HDD is taken out. In simple words don't place the boot drive ( OS installed drive) in the place of DVD drive.
Old laptops use SATA 2 port for CD drive. Putting a SSD in place of CD drive wont increase performance since SATA 2 transfer rates are low. I had tried this and it did not help. Please don’t waste your money based on half info. If your CD drive is connected to SATA 3 then this will work
Not all laptop DVD rom can utilise the full speed of ssd (sata 3 speed) what i recommend is use a m.2 ssd or ssd in your main HDD caddy for os and use your old HDD in your cd/DVD drive for storing games or "study material" 😉
Protip - don't insert your SSD in DVD drive because it works on sata 2 it will slow down Your SSD So first of all Remove your hdd and insert SSD at sata 3 and then you can use that old hdd at dvd drive port
@@rohanjain6915 yes.. However you can buy a caddy and put your old hdd in it and replace it with CD-ROM of your laptop. This way you'll have both performance of an SSD and capacity of hdd
@@rohanjain6915 I was also using 1tb hdd but later I bought 240 gb SSD and then I put the SSD in place of hdd on my laptop and I bought a caddy(a device which used to insert hdd or SSD in cd drive) I've inserted that old hdd in cd drive Now my movies, photos, documents and other stuffs are in hdd And windows, games and other softwares like Photoshop and Adobe premiere is is in SSD And all softwares work very smoothly and windows start in only 11sec
freelancing like S.E.O ,facebook ads, google ads,Bloging, affiliate marketing etc..i have already 4 gb ram of laptop...suggest me ssd will it increase my internet speed
Well, you won't be able to use the full potential of your New SATA SSD if you swap it for a Disc Drive Caddy, as most of the laptops actually used SATA 2 for CD and SATA 3 for HDD, better swap the SSD with HDD SATA port. Also. Increase RAM if possible, if using windows 10, atleast 8 GB is recommended.
My computer have 128gb SSD and 2tb HHD windows is installed on SSD and rest things like games on HHD now i am planning to upgrade ssd to 500 gb but price is out of budget .
