Cpppkkk 1 2 it doesn't, a military (or military personnel) is a person in the army, so it doesn't matter how many weapons you have but how many people that decided to go in your army and are provided with the standard equipment. Let's say you have 20 soldiers, 10 guns and 20 knives: you have enough knives for every soldier to have one (they would now all be military personnel from the same corp), you also decide to give the guns to ten of your soldiers, the real modern armies of today organize soldiers with different equipment into corps, this allows them to organize complicated tactics and provide different corps with suitable jobs. If you were to put all your soldiers in one big corp and sent them to battle with the same target some of them could be ill equipped or you could waste the skills of the better equipped soldiers. This division can be a bit useless with a small army but with a bigger one it can be very useful. This is how modern armies work
