Hi! Great video! This is just meant as constructive criticism, with LOVE. It is pronounced: MOhs with a long "O". A roughed out cabochon is called a "rub", just as it's spelled, and as referring to cut gemstones, it's called a "fasset,(facet), there is no 'au' sound. I enjoyed listening and watching your video. I think I have more to learn about cutting cabochons and faceted gems!

To save money buy your sandpaper at harbor freight. And cut them in half. It’s also better sandpaper. Water resistant Aluminum oxide. Especially in the higher number grit. They are separated I believe they have 5 sheets per grit. Harbor Freight is cheap cheap cheap. I even buy my rotary tool bits that are diamond grit. Downside to them is they are a lower number grit (rough) You can start out with a Vevor cabbing machine. Much cheaper then Pacific diamond, Cab king and so on. Then move up to the more expensive machines. I started with sandpaper but having rheumatoid arthritis it caused me much pain. Interested and finishing the video. Silicosis is what happens to our lungs when breathing in rock dust high in silica. Also asbestos, strict nine and other heavy metals is not good to breathe to all that do not know that is watching this video in that and that is why she is saying to wear a mask. Water does help control the dust. I get teased cause I use water and mask. In my opinion you could breath in the toxin’s with the water spray with the rock dust. I washed the stone between sanding grits as to not cross contaminate Anyhow can’t wait finish watching. So far so good.
