i mean it would of been far easier and quicker, to use a hand saw to remove to the excess. Then carve it to shape!

looks good but I feel too much of wood wasted in grinding instead that should have been cut and red used in some other projects

Totally agree. It was a lot of wood and wouldn't normally be so wasteful. The idea was to demonstrate that you don't need a lot of tools (bandsaw in this case) to create something for the home. We'll rethink the next project to minimise waste.

Are you after the measurements for the laptop stand? This of course will depend on the size of your laptop but ours was 21cm (L) x 32cm (W) x 14cm (H)
