I'm going to make this one tonight! One trick I learned recently is to hold a stick or skewer against the opening of bottles when I'm pouring them. The liquid will run down the stick and when you stop pouring it won't run down the side of the bottles. It's a game changer!

I am one of your Patreon and I received the recipe early. I made two four-ounce versions; the first used powdered goat milk and the second I used liquid goat milk (cut back on the distilled water). Your version came out as expected, very very good, and the liquid goat's milk version kept separating.

Hi Tessie, I am glad you liked the formula! I am also intrigued by your experiment with liquid goats milk. In my experimentation with goat milk powder in lotion formulas some of my practice batches separated. When I reformulated them, I scaled way back on the amount of goat milk used in the formula and it seemed to fix the problem. After much research into why this would happen, I still haven't found the answer. I decided it was the amount of goat milk used because, lotions I have made that are similar in composition (minus the goat milk) have remained stable. So I think, that it may have something to do with the composition of the milk and it's effect on emulsions.

Happy customer here! I received my lotion today and put it on right after a shower ... and I'm in love! I usually only apply creams on my legs because if I apply it all over my body it feels sticky and takes forever for a cream to get absorbed, but not in this case! And the scent is amazing, that's exactly what goat milk cream should smell like! Thank you, Cory!

If you are using PET containers for this, they really don't squeeze well. How does it come out of the PET type out squeezing? How about a pump bottle? Would it be to thick for a pump? I am loving this!

Thank you! Yes the PET containers don’t really squeeze well. When they get to the bottom you have to store them upside down. Not sure how they would work in a pump

I’ve never tried to make goat milk lotion because I was under the impression it was hard to preserve. I love goat milk. How long would this last? Meaning with the goat milk powder. I understand about the expiration date of the oils. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I have also steered clear of using liquid goat milk in my formulations for the same reason. However suppliers like lotion crafter and wholesale supplies plus carry the cosmetic grade powdered form with instructions on how to incorporate it into lotions and creams. There is no expiration date on the actual raw material. I believe this lotion will last as long as a typical lotion depending on how you store it and how old the oils are.

How do I get your recipes for sea moss products. Please just give me a link, I looked on your website but I did not see anything about recipes. Maybe I did not look well enough. My friend told me sea moss helped him heal from Lime disease, he was given a few months to live. As a native of Saint Lucia with unlimited access to sea moss and other organic raw products I would like to start making soap and other products from sea moss for myself family members and friends.
