Thank you very much. I just made mine with blue jeans material a couple of Knitted pockets and knitted strap. It was beautiful. Now ready for Yoga.

Clear instructions. I’m adapting this to my neoprene mahjong mat, much thinner rolled up and 36” long. We’ll see how it goes. I feel confident after seeing this video.

I was just about to buy a bag for my yoga mat, so glad I found this video! I have a Janome that is almost 20 years old! It was one of the first computerized models Janome made and it is still going strong.

Hey Michael, good job! Have Janome send you an extension table for your machine so your fabric does not hang off the left side of the machine and drag. Keep up the great work!

Hello Christopher! The machine model Michael is using, the Continental M7, comes standard with an extension table. So it is definitely an option! Happy Sewing!

This is a great project! If I wanted to just make an envelope and box the corners how would I change the measurements?

I have only quilting fabric. Can interfacing or quilting it provide the body it needs?

I will add 5 inches or 12.5 cm to the length of the mat so it closes well at the top. Mine is not fully closed even though I have followed the instructions on the video. Thanks for your great work.

The stitching the bottom of the bag on is the part that worries me the most. It's the only part that isn't just straight stitching but you just fast forwarded and didn't show that part at all 😢
