1. Always rinse off areas with mud, sand, or road salt before using our waterless method. These materials can scratch paint if they get trapped in your towel.
2. Change your microfiber towel as it gets dirty. We fold our towels so we can unfold them and refold them as they get dirty, so you always have a clean side to use and then switch it once all the sides have been soiled. For example, on my Nissan Titan I use around 4-6 microfiber towels.
3. If you ever drop your towel on the ground or get sand, salt, or mud on it, don’t use it. Sand and debris can scratch paint.
4. Always dry the Wash Wax ALL completely before it dries on its own
5. Tire Soap is not a tire shine. It is only a cleaner. When using, it is meant to be sprayed on, agitated, and then wiped clean until nothing comes off the tire. Once the tire stops leaving black on the towels, the tire is completely clean and ready for our tire conditioner, Rubber Care. Rubber Care will leave a satin finish on your tire like when the tire was new, it will not leave them shiny or oily by design since shiny, oily dressings attract dirt.
6. When you first start using the mop, prime the wet side pad with some sprays of Wash Wax ALL to make it a little easier to clean when first starting out. This only needs to be done before the first wipe on the RV and after that you only need to spray the surface of the RV. Use the wet side pad to remove the grime and then flip it over to dry it. Once the dry pad gets completely saturated, switch that pad to the wet side and take off the wet side and put it in a container until you are ready to wash them. Keep doing this until you finish the rig. Your RV should take all 6 pads to clean the full RV.
7. The Bug Scrubber pad you used to clean the tires works extremely well with Wash Wax ALL to remove bugs as well. You don’t have to use the Bug Scrubber pad to clean your tires, but it does help cut through the grime on the tires. If you end up using it on your tires, it will probably be too dirty to use on your paint, but we do sell those in packs of 5 or as single replacements.
8. The mop does pivot in two directions if you remove the lock screw on the pivot. This will help a good deal on the front-end cap of your RV and allow you to get into tighter areas.
