HOW TO MANAGE SEBORRHEIC DERMATITIS?!
that allows your skin to essentially not exfoliate properly and you end up stacking these skin cells on the surface of the scalp and you end up developing an excessive amount of fungus between these skin cells and you end up having an unusual amount of sebum being pushed out through those skin cells so is you must use a ketoconazole shampoo so there's a shampoo
Called Nizoral and that is 1% ketoconazole and that is a place to start cause it kills yeast and fungus and if you will use that typically starting out 5 days a week and then go down to 3 days a week after 2 weeks then it will end up controlling a volume of it but you need to make sure your vitamin d 3 is good because that actually helps stabilize autoimmune conditions you need to make sure that your ferritin is good also help stabilize also make sure that your zinc is good so these levels are so important in your skin and your immune system

@moriel01 its a prevention. Its a chronic condition. We could only manage it by preventing flare ups such as deprived from sleepin, stress, or another flare ups. In your case it seems scalp is already infected, i usually use ketoconazole shampoo lather it on your scalp and let it stay for 10-12 mins, do it 3 times a week. Then it would get better 14days later. And sometimes after medication your scalp will shed most of the infected skin cell before it gets better. This is how i managed this skin condition. Hope it helps

Permanent solution is setlting down chronic inflammation via dietary changes for a while lile 3-6 months min and then making it a good habit and eliminating stress thst causes inflammation. Simultaneously, nutritional foods / supplements that boost hair growth . And massaging the scalp for good blood flow and growth.

When nothing else works, apply either of these two acids- apply freshly squeezed llime juice or apple cider vinegar and let it dry out. When squeezing the lime juice pour it through a strainer to seperate the liquid, then either get yourself an empty plastic bottle with a nozle ( such as an empty hair dye platic bottle with nozzle) part your hair and apply the liquid directly to scalp as you part hair all throughout. Other option is to spray the lime juice or Appli Cider vinegar onto scalp. Make sure you soak the scalp and just let it sit and dry. The acid eats away at the oil on your scalp. You can shampoo after 30. Min or longer if you don't mind waiting. I once went 4 days without any itch and buildup from this routine. Hope someone gets relieve from this.

Not sure who else will find it helpful, but i dealt with my daughters extreme dandruff issues with hydrogen peroxide. She used to have extremely itchy ,flaky dandruff. Used all sorts of shampoos and medication with no results. Found that after having a pedicure, my nail fungus issues practically disappeared. Based on that , diluted 1 part of 3% hydrogen peroxide with 2 parts water and using a cotton ball, dabbed it all over her scalp, waited 5 min and washed it all off with water (no shampoo). Did it once a week for a month. No issues ever since.

Staying away from yeast in your diet and simple carbs helps immensely. This comes from the health of your gut, doctors won’t tell you that though unless they study naturopathic, holistic, and eastern medicine. These things he is recommending is just a band aide but don’t listen to me because I’m not a doctor.

@bram1nabuurs471
@bram1nabuurs471 Год назад
@@angelmaldonado5657 I did it for a period, slightly reduced the outbreaks, but honestly, it was probably because of the summer. During the summer the outbreaks stop and when the colder temperatures are coming back it becomes worse again. You might have noticed that as well. I live in the Netherlands so the temperatures during the winter get sometimes below zero Celsius. Sadly, it's also extremely difficult to not eat carbs and food with yeast in it, what helped me the most is getting enough omega 3 oils on a daily basis in the form of a capsule. Reducing is possible but completely eliminating it is very rare... and I have a light variant of dermatitis compared to others!

Hey there, mates. Fellow Scalp seborrheic dermatitis sufferer here. This is for people like me. I had this dandruff thing maybe 3 years ago from now. Severe dandruff, got bald and can see patches of fungus there. Doc at first recommended (Clobetasol Propionate 0.025% lotion) and (salicylic acid 2% and ketoconazole 2% shampoo). Worked well, but the solution wasn't a long term solution. There's nothing bad with using the shampoo long term. Dandruff was still recurssing at this point. Tried (ketoconazole 2%) only shampoo, didn't work. Itchy, redness and danruff on scalp. Moderate hairfall. Tried (ketoconazole 2% and zinc pyrithione 1% shampoo) only. All dandruff wen't away just like that. Extremely effective for me, but at the cost of heavy hairfall. Was depressed at this point. Then tried a "piroctone olamine" only shampoo for a few days. Recurring dandruff but very slight ithciness and normal hairfall. Didn't work that well. Doc said no but still was using that lotion I mentioned in the first treatment(like maybe once every 10 days and danruff was under very good control). Finally, currently using (Ciclopirox olamine 1% & zinc pyrithione 1% shampoo). Works like charm. Had to use it every alternate day initially, but now once twice a week works fine. Hope this helps to some of you out there! Thanks, Vicky.

I’ve been dealing with this for ten years. The dying probably helps because you are properly scrubbing your scalp and cleaning your hair, way more than during your regular routine. Clean your scalp often and as thoroughly as possible, shampoo multiple times, leave on for a few minutes. Happy cappy shampoo works well, other natural clarifying rosemary infused shampoos, Theraneem, nizoral…all work to an extent. The important part is cleanliness of the scalp…I can’t stress this enough! Scalp scrubs can also help.

I tried several products over 5 years but nothing helped so far or sebum etc came back after a few days. And oh my god , sometimes I had to wash my hair every day just because there were soooo much sebum. But the worst part , it found its way to my beard. But then a friend suggested ketoconazol shampoo (and now a creme too) and after 1(!) Shower . . Gone. And it won't come back for at least 2-3 months - for me personally. Love it ❤️

I did that. The fungus develops resistance later and everything becomes worse. My hair was falling like never before and I’ve been having excessive dandruff so I needed to know why, I did a full check up, all my vitamin levels were good, nothing seemed off. My bed sheets are changed frequently, towels are never reused, I never apply any heat, and rarely go out when the sun is up. I still couldn’t find the reason. I started using nizoral and it helped reducing dandruff at first, then two months later it became much more worse. The itchy feeling was so bad. I also used Ducray which wasn’t bad , but didn’t help much. The thing that has been working for me recently is Sulfur8 shampoo + the conditioner. Much much better than nizoral and I’m not sure why no one is talking about the amazing underrated sulfur.

I found а definitive solution thanks to a severe cough I had, not expecting the "side effect" of it at all. I've been with this condition, Seborrheic Dermatitis, for more than 10 years and it was severe especially tha last 5 years. Went to a doctor when I was much younger and I was diagnosed with it. Seeing this is because I post this story to random people including you, with my only wish to help someone get rid of this skin nightmare. So I had this severe cough that won't go away, and the doctor prescribed me a treatment with Medrol 4mg 100 tablets, the active ingredient of which is methylprednisolone. At first it was an injection a day in the ass (a muscle injection with methylprednisolone) then it was switched to Medrol which is basically the same thing, just taken orally in tablets. The Seborrhea was completely gone the next day or two, all over the scalp, on my face and behind my ears. The redness on may face was still very slightly visible (but only to me cause I recognize it well) the next three to five days. Now, after a week of taken this Medrol, I can't believe I had this thing for years. The skin is unrecognizable, completely clear and smoooth as it should be. I was completely surprized. I didnt went to the doctor for this but fortunately this is how it turned out. So I guess the seborrhea is some internal disorder, may be some hormonal disbalance or something caused by certain lifestyles or life choices - work, food, stress etc., because methylprednisolone is a corticosteroid - a synthetic analogue of a hormon (cortisol) naturally produced by our adrenal glands. Now I find it funny that there are tons of creams, shampoos etc., that do basically nothing but can cost you hundreds of dollars in the long run. I certainly tried hundreds of them. Obviously, Seborrhea is a condition that must be treated internaly. I urge everyone to consider methylprednisolone (surely there are many options for the same thing on the market) to treat his or her condition. For me it was amazing! Not a freaking trace of this itching nightmare in a couple of days. Go see a doctor and tell him/her about it, cause taking methylprednisolone is very tricky. There is a specific schedule of taking this drug. Stopping it abruptly can cause serious problems. So seeing a doctor is a must. Free yourselves from this nightmare once and for all with methylprednisolone. P.S. I dont know if when I stop taking Medrol the Seborrhea would return and/or how fast it will return if at all, so I can't say it's really "definitive" or "for life" but for now - it's a freakng miracle. I hope anyone who read this gets rid of this horrible desease. Talk to your doctor about this treatment!

@@rajavignesh7216 After stopping the corticosteroids the seborrhea returned and kind of worse. Although you can't really say what's worse if you had had it very bad. But I started a keto diet after that i.e. cut the carbs significantly, started walking on average 7-8 km a day, lost about 5 kilos, and started applying a ccoconut oil on my scalp, face and ears, daily. Doing all this helped me get rid of the sebborhea. I still has some of it at the entrance of my ears but everywhere else it disappeared. Not sure what from all these is the cause of the disapperance but give them a try. Especially the keto diet with the coconut oil. Of course physical activity is always desirable too. Take care!

Dear friends I will share with you a way of how to get rid of this plague for good. Stick to this steps and is should be gone completely in 2 weeks. Everything you need is available in shops or online so you don't need any prescription. 1. Wash your hair and infected areas with Head and Shoulders clinical strenght. Apply a little and massage into infected spots. Leave on for 5 minutes. The colder the water the better. Don't wash your face or infected areas with hot water - big no. 2. After step 1 while your skin is still moist apply hyaluronic acid onto your skin. Put some onto your fingers and massage into your skin. If you have dermatisis on your face apply all over your face not just onto the infected areas. 3. After the hyaluronic acid is absorbed (wait at least 10 minutes) apply salycic acid. Few drops on cotton pad and apply to infected areas. 3. Do not eat bakery breads or or dough. Anything that contains yeast. Yeast helps the infection to grow. 4. Try to cut or reduce dairy products. I hope that this helped you. Please let me know :)

THIS IS A WASTE OF TIME! please don’t ignore this and please get back to me once you try it!!! I was diagnosed like a year or 2 ago with seboric dermatitis. They tryna tell me it’s “chronic” 😑. I got prescribed ketoconazole that red shampoo they give you. That shampoo is crap. I used it on and off and my dandruff/red itchiness would go away but then come back once I stopped using it. I got tired of it like 2 weeks ago I felt like I was going insane. I told my mother it was driving me crazy and she had mentioned a long time ago to put vinegar mixed with water in my scalp, then massage it and it will go away. I finally decided to listen to her😂 and it went away. I haven’t used the stupid red shampoo in like 2 weeks and I have literally no dandruff and itchiness/dryness. I had a coworker try it they also have itchiness and dandruff and it worked as well! I only wash my hair with water now in the shower and sometimes I’ll put shampoo or conditioner so I can smell good only on the hair not the scalp! Please try it. Vinegar mixed with water, massage your whole scalp with it and leave it on for 30 minutes at least. The longer the better I leave it on for 2 hours ish. Good luck lmk.

You need to not let your scalp dry out! You must use a light oil on your scalp & rub it in but not get it on the hair as to leave it greasy. The easiest way I've found to do this is to use Avocado oil. Pour small amounts on your fingers while in the shower and rub your fingers all over your scalp and use the warm shower to help spread it evenly onto the scalp. Do this at least once a week, especially after washing your scalp with the shampoo. Your Dr should have prescribed you anti fungal medication like *Clotrimazole* as well. After washing hair & scalp, apply it generously to the scalp. It will help minimize the drying out of your scalp.
