AHI is Aamna Haider Isani and will bring to you the life, style and soul of my life.
The word AHI may be the acronym of my name, but it independently stands for a species of Hawaiian Tuna. Ahi is an apt name for me. As a Piscean, fish is my symbol and water my element.
But this channel isn't about astronomy. l'll be tapping into my 20-year career as a fashion journalist to cover fashion as a source of self-expression and body positivity. We'll have a little bit of fun in shows like Fashion Fortnightly. I'll be connecting with fashionable creatures in Meet the Muse and reviewing fun, new products in the short FIR - First Impression Review. Aamna 101 will take you into my life while The AHI Icon will bring you an exceptional person, whose story inspires.

Aamna, you and Hassan are my biggest stress relievers. I discovered Something Haute while I was debilitated with very bad pre-vaccine covid (I was/am an essential worker and contracted it through my job), and every day was a nightmare for me. You and Hassan became my virtual friends, and your show, my everyday relief. This was three years ago, and I've never looked back since. ♥️

Aamna you are an inspiration. I am of your age and relate to you on many thing except on discipline and punctuality🤦‍♀️ after listening to you i will now work on this aspect to eliminate much stress associated with always getting late. Like you i loved my job but unfortunately lost it and after that i feel my life has been devoid of all its meaning coz i am childless and kept all my focus on my job. So you can imagine what was or is left in my life now. Its now 5 years i am still struggling to forge a new mindset. Get myself to regain self confidence. I have also since then lost the vibes i was getting in my prayers BUT Alhamdulillah reading Quran has been the strongest panacea to me. It make me feel to devoid of all material pleasure and instantly soothes my wavering mind. However since we have a life to live i am still trying harshly to find a meaning in life. Stay blessed Aamna for making a difference to people’ life

You are such a stress buster for me Aamna...I can keep listening to you for hours. Please talk about anger management too and I know you are too busy but it would be kind of you to make these videos a little longer. I was really feeling relaxed listening to you and it ended...but yes it is so nice you came up with this idea. A happy marker I would like to add to the list is Tahajjud...the sense of calm and relief after offering Tahajjud and opening your heart to Allah is impeccable,inexpressible and divine. Looking forward to more such videos ❤

Thank you Amna for making this video... and yes please it needs to be addressed in a series of videos.. all the happy markers you shared are indeed helpful. I must add, the usage of social media and mobile phone is also a very big stress of current times, hence switching off your phone for a period of time and connecting with your realtime surroundings can help relieve the stress to an extent.

I dont know amna if u will read this or no for me first stress buster for me QURAN tafseer which i am doing after that my stress buster us listening to u r my stress reliever ur positivy they way how positively how progressively basicaly ur progressivness is my stress reliever we dont have ppl like you even those who seemingly appear to look progressive when u sit with them they have soo toxic and regressive thinking soo for me ur my stress buster i dont watch dramas but started to watch now just wo listen to ur video and i love ur random talks that u n hassan do during your videos soo stay blessed u have relieved my stress MAY ALLAH RELIEVE ALL YOUR STRESSES thankyou

Wonderful ! Few years ago I have family health issues still has but the way I got toxic positivity and advices from near and dears,”that look others they have worst” -made me cut all the deep ties with them and I have more peace of mind that way.

Most of the therapists I’ve tried to seek help from in Pakistan aren’t qualified enough or don’t realise the sensitivity of things / mostly concerned about the fee and when that “1 hour session” is over. This is what my experience has been and it gets difficult to deal with things when the professionals in this country don’t act their profession .

Apke jaise mujhe bhi time pe na chalne se bahut stress hota hai..and kids/husband never understand that it bothers me. I start shouting or panicking and they get irritated. How did you handle time related stress Aamna ji when ur kids were school going? Do continue filling us with your insights. 💕

Assalam u alaikum amma jee..I love you sooo much. You've taught me a lotttt..... you've basically nourished me and added a lot in me and my life....soo JazakAllah o khairan kaseera for all what you do.....I also wanted to request you that also please talk on parenting...like let me give you a scenario that there is an independent girl who works and she get married and have kids...so how should she manage home and work together and is it only her responsibility to create a balance or the both parents. Why do we only expect girls or mothers to take care of the kids...why not the fathers...like they should also equally participate in every house chore and the kid's works..please is pr bhi ek 101

Thank you aaamna ma’am for this video. I just resigned from my 3 years of job today. It was being so toxic. It was just so exhausting for mentally. The stress was way too much. Yes I have taken a risk for myself. I hope things work out. But yes stress is a very painful thing, the happy markers which I have does help.

I would like to make distinctions about two kinds of stress: 1: Esutress-moderate or normal psychological stress, interpreted as being beneficial. and 2- Distress- Distress is stress that negatively affects you and eustress is stress that has a positive effect on you. So, Esutress or "beneficial stress" is good for us, however, distress is deteriorating for physical and mental health.

I have a request to kindly make a video on how to develop a habit of writing because I love to write but I don't find the right way to express my thoughts through by writing. How to avoid people who give us stress? Humans are the most complex species Allah created. Often our loved ones give us the most stress . We can’t simply get rid of them. But I totally agree with your stress reliever points. We can make the environment around us better suited . We should do things that give us pleasure and make us happy. We really need to talk about mental and emotional stress more and more. We must spread awareness on this. It doesn't need any degree for you to share your school of thoughts. I give my mother this talk every month and now after a year of making her understand how emotions work, she talks to me about how she feels in situations. I struggle too because of depression and attacks. Nobody reached out to me because nobody was aware of what was happening or what can happen. I struggled for years to control myself and take care of myself. Right now I am helping people with my own experience of learning from past five years. Evan small talk in fifteen days work for people around me and it motivates me too to learn more, and have more strength mentally and emotionally.

Thank you for highlighting this about stress and some of the most simple things to practice, nature is some of the most therapeutic things that we should take advantage of and its free, this is something I mention to people I work with who are suffering with mental health, in the west people are on a journey of chasing the impossible and money, its keeping up with The Jones, this is good advise spiritual connection with Allah and finding things you enjoy and doing more of it Really good segment🙂🙂🙂

I love the smell of patchouli , so i have a room n linen spray on my bedside, and it just make me relax abd reassuring in some way ❤ plus unpopular opinion but i love city sounds specially in the morning, horns, ppl talking, door closing n shutting , pigeons just make me happy n fresh.

Yes life is full of stress for everyone so better expect less and try to understand other people rather than complaining about everything...and try to spend time with your true friends trust me it's a therapy especially for women because I have seen women in our society couldn't connect with Their school, college and university friends after marriage
