This video shows you how to set the system through an immediate regeneration. The system is programmed to regenerate at 12 am or 2 am depending on what type of system you have, but you can manually set it to regenerate if needed.
Thank you, but please explain what happens when you turn the dial too far to the right, ending up on rinse or backwash? This garbage unit does not allow you to put it back to in service or even move it any further once you've done so.
When I try to manually regenerate mine, nothing happens, at least immediately. Am I just being impatient or should something begin to happen immediately?
Looks like you're being impatient (like me)... I did the same and the only reason it worked for me is because I forgot and left the selector in REGEN... about 10 - 15 minutes later I went to look at the softener for something else and lo and behold the wheel was just shy of the first step, and it started as I was looking at it. I know why it has a delay before start, but I don't know why it's so long...
I've been waiting for it also... When I first turned it, I looked like this👨 Now I look like this👴 and still nothing has happened... I'm gonna be 💀soon...
When I try to manually regenerate mine, nothing happens, at least immediately. same problem tha Blenderbenderguy had. but i noticed he never got an answer to his question, any help??
Takes two hours 15 mins until it will go to the first step. It sucks cus I'm trying to drain my tank, I bucketed out majority of my water worried I had other problems, turns out it's completely fine. Regens will run it empty tho so I was hoping it would do that quickly the rest of the way, so I could make sure it doesn't fill up with too much water again. Swore it was always dry but I'm an idiot, these are confusing, mines an old BWS professional series and I turned the right knob the day knob, the back warns not to do that cus it can cause a jam. Ugh I thought the left dial was the time of day and so was the right, had no idea the right is a 12 day wheel, and u push the pins out every 3 or 4 days on that wheel. These things should have pictures explaining everything, or some crap
