Thank you so much for the step by step tutorial on this I'm a very visual person and all the guides including windows own page were all just listing out a vague list of how to do it and I was so afraid I was going to break something. The way you explained it helped and I was finally able to get my updates to install that have been erroring for months.
Dual Boot Win 7 and Win 10 after typing "create partition primary id=de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac" it gave me this Microsoft Diskpart version 10.0.19041.3636 EFI Extended Logical MSR Primary then typed "gpt attributes =0x8000000000000001" got his There is no partition selected Please select a partition and try again i wonder if from the get-go when i typed reagenc /info my Windows RE Status was already Disabled but continued with every step. i haven't closed the CMD nor shut off the computer but decided to see if Windows would create a Recovery Drive. all this Cha Cha Cha i had accidently tried to resized the recovery partition by resizing partition thru dDisk Management. yep it would not boot, took 2 days to get it working again and Dual Boot, now i'm up the creek i could just let it be and Exit CMD or reinstall windows 10 on that partition again. it was that Error Code 0xc0000098 that started this mess, my fault too cause i didn't make sure i had 1000MB partitioned for my Recovery like i've always done on my other computers *EDIT* i decided to retype *create partition primary id=de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac* was succesful then type *gpt attributes =0x8000000000000001* this type it was Successful. found your other video How to Expand the Windows Recovery Partition In Windows 11/10 and typed on DISKPART> *format quick fs=ntfs label="Windows RE tools"* and TOTAL SUCCESS *CERVEZA FOR YOU!* 🍺 Thank You Very Much 🍻
