Hello, thx for the video, it was helpful. I have an additional question, I have a case where there is a theme installed, but I was using Elementor Pro and CrocoBlock to make custom templates for the pages and archives and posts. If I update the theme in the way you have presented will I lose all those custom-made templates? thx

Create a child theme first, back-up the entire site, move it into a staging environment like your local pc, and then update your theme, see if is something broken, if is not, then you follow the steps on the live site. Cheers

If you do what this guy did, you are going to ruin your site : )) First of all create a child-theme, back-up the site, move it into a staging environment like your local pc, or create subdomain, and then update the theme, if everything is good, follow the steps into the live site.
