I have an issue with my phone where during an update (I was told it was an OS update) the battery ran out and now my phone will not get any screens outside of recovery or safety mode. Verizon says replacement is the only option and I have one coming to me, but I thought I'd investigate a bit to see if there was a way to reload the operating system using either an SD card or directly plugging it into my computer. By chance, do you know if this is possible or do you have any advice as to what to where to look for answers? Thanks
Hello, my phone (HTC m9) is rebooting but never comes up, so I'm folowing the step to reboot to see if it comes up "but keeps showing me the htc green letter or and off". So I decided to do the factory reset but isn't giving me the last 2 options (check smartsd and factory reset). What to do?
So my HTC One M9 is being stupid. It won't switch on via the power button and the power button won't work. It's very annoying and I want to reset my phone so it will stop, but I don't want to loose all my data. I have photos, videos, contacts that I don't want to loose but when I try and save my data, it won't work.
Hey man, I just rooted my phone and it keeps rebooting and nothing else. Now when I tried to flash the ROM again, it says /mnt/media_rw/ext_sd/0PJAIMG.zip - File not found! What can I do to reset my phone? Please help me.
mine doesn't show the 2nd page, all it shows is the phone and a lot til red triangle and then my phones turn back on and my password is still there I'm trying to get it off because I forgot it.ihavea htc opm9110
I just got my phone back from htc for being "fixed" on friday and today (Tuesday) I decided to click on the update now in the dropdown list and then after restarting my phone it kept saying I needed to update so i did it again then it was obvious it has a virus now and when I went into the download mode it didn't have a factory reset option and recovery mode then it ended up with a red triangle and when it came back on the virus or i think is a hacker because it is fighting with me when I try to change settings or try to go into power down etc... now what?

me too but then after waiting while trying to figure out what else to do the virus turned it back on, i didnt have the factory reset option then what did you do?
***** are you running a Samsung device? If so, go to your computer and download Samsung kies 3 then go to tools uprade and inilization and then put in your model number (on the back) and your S/N (on the back) then press next. Your computer will automatically download the right drivers etc. It will take about an hour but then it will be back to setup wizard and it should work I fixed my tablet on a ton in a bootloop with this rom. Basically just watch this video. If that doesn't work I recommend taking your phone to best buy or your carrier. Because you unrooted you have claimed your warranty back so they can give you a brand new device for fix the one you have.
