You, sir, helped me out tremendously. I kinda messed up the screen and digitizer on my nephew's iPood 5, and now he can't play his games. I nabbed this HTC Incredible 2 from a friend, but found out that Clash of Clans isn't compatible with it. Time to get to rooting this little thing. Lol

Is there a difference between the "Factory Reset" option on the first white HBOOT menu and the "Wipe data/factory reset" option on the black Recovery menu? Do they do the same thing, with the same result?

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!! BEEN TRYING TO FIX THIS SINCE 2011...WORKED LIKE A CHARM! JUST HAVE PATIENCE BCUZ ITS A SLOW PROCESS SO STAVE OFF FRUSTRATION JUST A LITTLE WHILE LONGER IF YOU TRY THIS. MY PHONE HAS FINALLY STOPPED SCREAMING "DROOOOOOIIIIIIIID" EVERY 3-4MINS ;)

Thanks for the video. I have a problem that this does not solve. My Incredible will not boot at all. When power on, only the first screen (white with black letters "HTC Incredible" appear). The screen then goes blank and that first screen comes back. It's an infinite cycle as it will never load the operating system. I can break into HBoot, but even after selecting factory reset or recovery, all I get is infinite cycling of initial screen and a hot battery after awhile. Is there a work around for this so I can get this phone working again?

Hi :) I've got some trouble with my htc 1 mini at the moment. The battery was empty, so I connected it to the charger, but then suddenly the HBOOT thingie appeared. And now I have no idea how to exit it. I don't want to reboot or recover anything. I would just like my phone to be normal again. How can I exit the HBOOT mode?? Cheers!

I have an HTC Thunderbolt and it still gets stuck on the white HTC screen. Do you have the RUU file for this phone?

Hi sir can you please add twrp/cwm recovery for htc 820q i have tried every possible recovery i can find for my device but whenever i select recover it says entering recovery and it brings me back to hboot screen.

+Rootjunky.com, I have an HTC desire 610 and I've tried many times to Get into recovery mode and it won't do it. I press and hold volume down button and power button at the same time and nothing happens. what do u think I should do, to get into recovery mode. i'm trying to root it.

If your system wants to boot directly into the os instead of the Hboot menu, try taking the battery out and trying the volume-down/power button sequence after. It seemed to do the trick with the HTC EVO
