First time mom here so I didn't expect breast engrogement would be another issue along with labor recovery. This is the best video on unclogging your milk ducts. I followed other videos on the different tips/massages I can do, but they were not effective. Just following along this video made me able to express milk immediately and the next day, my breasts were somewhat relieved. I was in a lot of pain with the engrogement but these exercises helped so much and after a few days of them, the pain were gone. Thank you.

OMG! I’ve been to emergency today, worried for hours while waiting and praying. Thankfully it was only a clogged milk duct that was causing me a lot of pain and a large lump under the breast. I’ve heard that you aren’t supposed to touch your boobs too much/hand express too much because it tells your body to create MORE milk if you have an oversupply it can lead to mastitis and you should only do this to comfort if they’re engorged

How many times a day

Initially I thought finger dance wouldn't work but now I think it helps the most! I think what's different about these techniques (especially the drop and the dance) is that it shakes the breast and perhaps cause the vibration necessary to remove milk that is stuck. Finger dance hurt soooo much at the start but feels better after just a while. My baby started crying then I nurse her, just in time! Previously I was just pressing and kneading with no improvement
