Omg you guys are like the McKenzie Brothers only sober and smart! And there's even a Bob! 🥰 Thank you for the wholesome, adorable, engaging, and very educational video. My massage gun is literally arriving within the hour and I can't wait to hopefully find some relief.
I found the QL muscle to be very painful. So I googled the anatomy which led me to this video. Thanks guys for sharing your knowledge. Much appreciated. It all makes perfect sense why I've not been able to work out this pain. I kept trying to stretch that part getting only brief relief. Didn't think of massarge even though I would anywhere else on my body. I'd never heard of the QL but after watching you both I feel like an expert 👍🏽😁👍🏽
I feel my doctor doesn't know about what's going on with me ...my muscles for the past year have been vibrating and twitching leg face arm hand and abdominal stomach area... My first muscle spasim was 18 years ago as a teen in the same main spot I still get them maybe every three months or so in the same spot its my back and travels to my front abdominal area it twist and hurts so much and takes 10 minutes to relax itself . my blood work showed 2.2 magnesium and really low vitamin D ...any recommendations?
@@immortalslugger2839 Ouch!! I guess the one up-side is you've got a nice big, strong muscle there for support lol Good luck I hope you recover fast! PT is your friend =)
Thanks Bob & Brad for this and all your informative videos! Quick question: is there a risk of getting too close to the kidneys when aiming a massage gun at QL?
I can't wait to use the massage gun on this muscle! I started having intense pain in this muscle last year after the pandemic started because I was sitting on my couch so much. I have never had back pain this bad; I could barely sit up without screaming. My husband helped me figure out what muscle was causing this & he would try to massage it with his fingers, but even that was too intense. It did eventually get better but it has been returning lately. He got me a massage gun & I've been trying to use it but wasn't sure how to use it best. I think your video will help me figure this out. Other than sitting straight, is there any stretches or strengthening exercises I can do to reduce this problem?
