I just received my Bob and Brad massage gun. All I can say is wow! I love the power and the ergonomics of the little machine. This sounds like a commercial but I have no connections to the sellers and just wanted to recognize a great product. My massage therapist won't return until after Coivd vaccinations so this massager is great!

Bingo! I already have a Bob and Brad massage gun, and after watching this decided to try it on my piriformis muscle that was creating an imbalance with my S/I joint. I can't believe the difference after the first use. I had been stretching this muscle, but it always returned to its tight position even after many months. I feel so much better! Thank you both!

You guys made my day with this gun.after seven years i started to do fitness and i push myself too hard so i got doms pain yesterday.i was not able to do any movements.i have that gun at home but i never use it before.after i watched u guys i tried it and it work directly it took my muscle pains from 10 to 3 ! I wish I saw this a month ago! I bought a Renpro massager that you guys recommended in the past. It does do a good job! I have an old whiplash injury and the massager is long enough to reach the spot and heavy enough to apply pressure without me doing yoga. I probably bought the right thing for myself.

Best $100 I ever spent. Costco sells pretty powerful massage guns. This thing smashes some areas that no amount of stretching could ever get. Professional massages are super expensive, and there’s no guarantee the therapist hits the right spots 🤷🏻‍♀️ This thing I can use every day! And I know it’s doing something not only because of relief, but because I can feel sore spots the next day with no visible bruising. Wild.

Could you also show which attachment works best for which muscle? I use only the ball but would like to learn if the other attachments would be better, ie shoulder, back etc....Thanks!!

Ball is good for large muscle groups, the "air cushioned" one is probably the same or for medium muscle groups, the pointed one is good for pinpointing treatment, but can be quite intense. Honestly, you could go by how it feels. It shouldn't be painful beyond the discomfort a deep tissue massage I would say.

Be extremely careful when massaging your arms, you can cause severe neuralgia if massaged too hard or too long. I Did it to both my arms and had very bad shooting nerve pains down my arms for about a week.

I agree that a basic understanding of muscle anatomy and physiology is helpful to navigate what and why is being done. Also there are some danger areas in the human body where the nerves and blood vessels don't have any muscle coverings. If there wasn't some kind of underlying issue it's likely you found one of those.

@BobandBrad I hope you see this. I have a question. I’m scared of these things. I’ve lost a lot of muscle in my spine. But I have severe muscle tension from my T spine clear up in to my head. So there’s uncountable knots everywhere. My question is, if you’re saying not to work knots with these guns, is it not ok to work knots in hand massage? I personally love that. No, I don’t get relief from hand massage. But it feels good in the moment. Thank you in advance!

I just ordered this massage gun thanks to your recommendations. I have spondylolisthesis L5 on S1, found on x-ray. I am not sure if this is the source of my 4+ year chronic low back pain on the left side. I’m hoping this will help. Physical therapy exercises and those given to me by my chiropractor help every morning, and I walk 4-5 miles every day pretty gently but at a good speed. As soon as I try to do something which requires bending, even just a little.... OW! I hope this device will help. I’m glad I watched as I will use the lowest setting possible at first. BTW, I got the Thermotex infrared heating pad and I think it’s great. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks Bob and Brad 💕👏

Hey guys, figured i'd add my 2 cents since I ended up taking the plunge and getting the Hyperice a few months ago. I primarily use it on my lower back (where I get my spasms) prior to exercising and in the mornings when my body is most stiff. I've definitely noticed a difference doing this in combination with core strengthening exercises. I still get muscle spasms but they're way less severe - lasts only 1-3 days tops instead of 3 weeks like it used to be. Main takeaways: a massage gun has definitely helped me as an add on and with spasm recovery/prevention. It feels great, but I would say don't expect it to completely prevent spasms - especially on its own. Also not necessary to buy a super expensive massage gun, budget ones will probably be just as effective.

I do and for me the massage gun works great. I've had life long issues with calf cramps, especially at night but also during exercising (cycling was the biggest trigger). I use the massage gun on my calves twice a day, once in the morning and then at night right before I go to bed. What I do is massage both calves for a few minutes, get up and do some gentle stretching, and then massage both calves again. That's it! For anyone considering getting a massage gun I suggest getting a cheap one at first to see if you get good results. A cheap massage gun is likely to shake itself to pieces in a few months so if you have a good outcome plan on replacing it with a quality unit. I purchased a unit from Theragun about 18 months ago and I couldn't be happier.

I’ve had a gun for two years - if I have a bad headache I use it on the back of my neck, shoulders and head. I find it amazing on the head, but I more run my head on the massager as opposed to using the massager on the head. I’m very careful obviously but, wow, running along the skull seams? And around the ear is so relieving. Interested to understand why this is considered so bad?

@@reginalee7543 you shouldn't use it directly on your head. This video even mentioned it. For areas over bones hold it sides ways to the area and it is much more gentle. Also use the foam ball tip, not the hard plastic ones which are for thick muscle masses like thighs, calves, etc

Good info for all in not only repairing damage but preventing injury. My big doodle will tug on me occasionally during a cold morning walk which has led to some issues. The gun is perfect for preventing this sort of issue. They mention Tom Brady a lot - pliability is key! As is his low inflammatory predominantly whole food plant based diet - also great for preventing injuries and for recovering quickly.

I bought the Bob and Brad massager mini gin and the round attachment came off of the arm the second time I tried to switch attachments. Obviously i returned the gun, but I would recommend looking into the design of the attachments.

Love your program. Love the massage gun. I need deep work in my muscles. Yeah. Often get knots. Have sometimes had to go to emergency. The massage gun has been such a help. My chiropractor bought the gun with me in mind. Lol. He’s also used shock treatment on my shoulder and tennis elbow to break up tension and increase circulation. The tendinitis has been reduced a lot.

I recently received one of your small massage guns. The instructions say that it is not intended for seniors. I’m 73. Am I too old to use it or are they taking about HS and college seniors? It also says not to use it on the neck or shines (sic), but in the back of the manual it shows it being used and shins. I hoped to use it to loosen up tight neck muscles.
