C section scar massage can help your body heal after giving birth via c section, but it's important to know how and when to begin massaging your scar. Women's health physiotherapist, Clare Bourne demonstrates the best techniques for early c section scar recovery.
*We recommend waiting until you're at least 6 weeks postpartum to begin c-section massage, and getting the go ahead from your GP. This is general advice and we recommend you seek advice from a pelvic health physiotherapist or scar therapist if you scar remains red and raised.
