Sometimes I feel like I'm not funny enough because I don't show myself as I am to my coworkers but honestly, I'm so much fun when I'm with my family, so the thing is, it's not that I'm not funny, it's just that I don't wanna be me with the wrong people, they mostly are just not my cup of tea and I think that could be your case too, it's not you, it's the wrong people
i've found with quiet confidence comes this subtle leadership skill. once you do a certain action people will notice and follow your example. sometimes being the observer, whether that's at work or in your friend group, can help build up natural leadership qualities because you will know when to speak up, when to advocate for others, and have a firm grasp on how others communicate and in turn that helps you communicate better with that individual.
I still have trouble with the “act like you’re correct” because even though I know something I say is right, I still add “I think” at the end. I honestly hate that I do this, but ig I’m just scared to be seen like an arrogant person. I’m an indecisive person and have low self confidence, so I tend to act submissive to the other person I’m talking too. This was a bad choice to do because when I do better than a coworker, they become competitive and try to bring me down. Watching this video made me realized that I’m not forced to talk to my coworkers when work is slow.
I personally like to use the phrase "I believe" rather than "I think", just a small change that makes me feel a lot more confident while still basically saying the same thing

I just started uni in a very differrent part of the country from my family. I dont have any family members here, just some friends of my parents. I've been pressured by my family to make friends, and I'm really trying to. When actually, I'm really comfortable with myself. But because of their pressure, I have been trying really hard. I've been watching videos of how to socialize, how to make convorsations, and pretty much every social skill video. I've been hard on myself because I cant keep a conversation with people, because I feel that I'm not interesting. But this video made me realize that I could just be myself again, my quiet self with imperfections that needs improvement. Thank you very much for making this video, it helped me through this difficult time🥰
I love this ❤ I have the feeling that a lot of people think that you can only be confidence when you're extreme loud, extravert and talkative, but I think most confident people are in fact more on the quite side because they know that they are worthy and don't feel the need to impress anyone. Confidence is a feeling of accepting yourself just the way you are
I relate so much to your quirk about throwing things away. I'm always on a quest to chuck things out of my room even though it's almost empty, and I've done a declutterung on my clothes like 10 times there's literally no more thigs that i can throw away😂😂
Thank you for this video and also as an introvert myself i feel like it’s not so hard for us to be confident when we are with the right people but than when we are around people we don’t know it’s like we shut down because we don’t know what to say or we feel that we won’t fit it. And sometimes we don’t and it’s okay to remove yourself from the situation or the group. But when I was in middle school I was antisocial and shy but then when I was around my friends I would be talkative so I think the older I got the more introverted I became and the less talkative I became as well. And by the way I love your accent 💕
exactly!! we become so animated and bubbly around the right people, and then the opposite around other people. imo all that matters is you keep those people close, bc it doesn't matter what acquaintances or strangers think, only what you think and the ppl close to you! 💕
ive been reflecting on it lately but watching this video definitely brought to the forefront of my mind just how truly scared i am when it comes to social interactions and relationships. i honestly think im the type where when i feel very confident im more on the loud side so i dont thknk quiet confidence is exactly something i strive for but i appreciate this video to look into the mindset of a person who is confident.
The problem that u expound in this video resonates with me, I manifest I could be like u in university! I just graduated highschool and wish to get into medical school and be a doctor just like u, it will be a long and life-changing journey pls root for me so that the experience would be positive, life changing, and does not go south....❤
a good example of this is mimi vs. Samatha on love island, mimi has a lot of the quite confidence and sam is a bit louder and extroverted but not necessarily as confident.
Hey I really liked this video. I know I learned a lot of confidence and how to build it up. Ideally I would like to implement all of these different exercises to better improve my confidence; but the one I want to focus on the most is just saying no.

I so get the wanting to wear the same thing every day lol but yeah, the one of throwing things away is giving major sk vibes 😭 but perhaps it's because I'm the opposite and I always save things "because it could be useful later". my own sk trait (as my friend called it) is my bed placement, in the middle of my room or right next to the stairs LMAOOO

omg i'm literally planning a video on this. it's gonna be called something like 'don't aim to be liked, aim to be respected' or something like that. i've come to realise people respect you A LOT when you care more about approving of yourself vs seeking approval. but i'll elaborate more in the video. but yeah, like you said, defo walk in the room, confident af, you approve of yourself, you don't need anyone to validate you, win or lose, you always have your own back, you don't need anyone's validation 🙌
