What I find most unique about F1 compared to any other sport is how close nit it seems. The spotlight is on only 20 drivers and 10 teams. You can get to know all the personalities on the track and everyone gets to enjoy the same memes and how aware everyone is of them. Just recently the "liked by Pierre Gasly" meme became so relevant even Pierre himself got in on the joke. Overall the social media presence and admins help propegate this feeling. And you just don't see that with sports that have so many more people.

The best thing about F1 is that it represents life so well. Sometimes you have everything to succeed, you got a plan, skills, a team, tools, everything to achieve a goal. But all of a sudden, something unexpected can happen and may either complicate things to the point where you have to work really hard to get back where you were and some others, there's nothing you can do about it but to learn from it and get ready for the next challenge. But either way, you just never ever give up.

I like the fact that there are multiple levels on which different teams are fighting really close while there is still a big difference between the top, mid and lower table. Also the fact that there is a drivers and a constructors championship makes it so exciting because there are multiple competitions being decided in one sporting event. No other sport has this.

The thing I like about F1 the most is the unpredictability of when it rains and not having an idea of who will be on the podium and sometimes you get a suprise winner. The battles are usually brilliant when they happen which makes F1 amazing when it rains!

@Fred Freddy Canada 2011, what an amazing race! What a crazy and unpredictable race and gave us everything we wanted! No one would have ever predicted what was going to happen which makes F1 in the rain amazing. I wish F1 would not red flag it now as much whenever it rains

For me I think the best thing about f1 is the fans and the community. We don't have the biggest fans but we are so connected and even the drivers like Nico Rosberg give out gifts to his fans which is just so amazing and you don't see this in any other sport. On top of this majority of fans are able to see f1 without living their country because f1 is worldwide which is another great thing I love about f1 and them connecting to different cultures.

One thing that I absolutely love about F1 is the need for consistency. I've never ever indulged in any other sport before, but I started watching F1 and was gripped by the thrill and determination that one needs in the sport. How the one second seems like a really long time. And how sheer persistence and 'Never giving up' attitude can get you a position at the podium.

I’ve only recently caught on to F1 but for me the best thing about it is the comradery amongst the drivers. What the teams do from a technical standpoint is more than impressive but it comes down to those men in those seats. Risking life and limb week in and week out I just really enjoy seeing the respect they have for one another.

The best thing for me is the precision of driving required of the drivers for the ENTIRE race. To have that level of control and concentration you have to be one of the best drivers in the world. Difficult question to answer because there's so many things to love about this sport. I guess my absolute favourite is just watching the onboards of the drivers especially when we get helmet cam footage. Watching from the outside is one thing but when you have the view of the driver you get to kind of experience just how fast and surreal it is to drive these incredible machines, and on the limit as well while having to pay attention to all the information on the steering wheel and needing to make adjustments wow it just blows my mind!

The best thing about F1 for me, an automotive engineer, is the sheer scale of engineering and technology that goes into this mammoth operation. The R&D, the continuous testing and analysis, on-track and off-track tunings and everything else just leave me in awe. Not to mention, the trickle-down system where we eventually see some of the tech features make it to daily life is a huge bonus for the future and keeps me engaged not just in the sport but the art of making cars like these :

The thing that makes Formula1 so exciting for me is seeing all these factors such as mechanical engineering, aero, team radios, drivers, team principals and so on, work together to achieve greatness. It amazes me how every team is working hours and hours just to get 0.1 seconds faster per race lap, let alone qualifying pace. The best thing about F1 for me is clearly the battle of machines and humans. You have 1000s of engineers and team members enabling the production of a hyper complicated machine that has more grip than any other car. Then, you have sportsmen (and -women), who are the best at the world. Right now, we have an really strong group of drivers, as can be seen with the low number of incidents. The mix of both makes F1 truly unique and special. The stopwatch never lies!

I love the engineering and cutting edge development. Seeing the amazing innovations and solutions teams come up with. Like DAS (mind blowing!) or blown diffusers or Merc figuring out how to lower their rear end at specific speeds last season. For me that is the greatest part about F1, the cars and the development of them. The amount of effort and resource to shave off a tenth or hundredth of a second. Like Red Bull switching to flat pain because it’s slightly lighter… or Lewis talking about how he shaved off 600 grams from the steering wheel a few years ago. Seeing everything on the absolute limit and finding the nuance or loopholes in the regulations. :)

If there's something I would have loved is if Nico would have kept racing after his 2016 championship, I know the guy was done already but the other years following his departure were really boring, I stopped watching F1 completely until the 2021 season

I think Nico never won in Canada, as much he did the pole position in 2014 and didn't win because a mechanical problem, but nothing else.

Except he has NEVER won the F1 Canadian Grand Prix! His best result was 2nd in 2014 to Daniel Ricciardo's win and 2nd in 2015 to Lewis.

All things considered, I absolutely love the commentary in Formula 1. Especially in tight corners and wheel to wheel situations.

*Nico absolutely fighting for his life around the hot lap* Also Nico: “alright that was a good lap😄” no hate just gave me a chuckle. While I’m here I guess I’ll say that my favorite part about f1 is the peak nature of the talent and technology.

I love the drama that comes with F1. I'm soon to be studying to go work in the sport and the excitement from the competition between drivers is a reason I fell in love with it, to begin with. Huge credit as well to Drive to Survive for bringing in numerous fans to the sport, with more fans can only make it more exciting in the future.

I love F1 because no other sport equals its energy. You get countries showcasing their culture and celebrating their very best each week, drivers pushing themselves on extreme life and death conditions, the very best engineers striving to extract literal tenths out of the most advanced machinery in the world, and obviously the racing itself is a mixture of incredibly tense but exciting emotions! F1 is the only sport that can really call itself "global" considering you have drivers from Mexico to Japan and races anywhere from Montreal to Baku, there is nothing quite like it.

Just the pure spectacle of it all. The glitz, the glamour, the entertainment factor. F1 at the end of the day is all about a show for us, the fans. So much work is put in to it all so that we can enjoy the most thrilling and technologically advanced sport in the world. F1TV, Grill the Grid, all the technical explanations; everything is done to allow the fans to enjoy the experience of the world's fastest cars and best drivers week in, week out. There's nothing like it.

Apart from the racing/overtaking and on track battles, i like listening to the team Radios (all the drivers reactions after grosjeans mega crash) or the press conferences, post race interviews and seeing, how humane they are and that f1 drivers aren’t emotionless racing warriors but humans just like us, except the fact they are crazy fast and brave drivers, they are normal people. seeing that guys like that, everyone looks up to, are actually normal people like us is something i really enjoy 10:30 Mein lieber Nico, you didn’t race any tracks in formula1 as a champion nico, because you retired as a champion ;)

Favourite thing about F1 has to be the cars and technology, being so advanced nowadays and interesting to know about. Everyone thinks they all look the same but it's really cool to look into the little details about the cars

I got into F1 a couple of months ago and for me the greatest thing about the sport is the passion and competitiveness every driver aswell as every member of the team has for the sport.Every overtake, every position gained, every pitstop, etc. There are so many details these people try to bring to perfection so they can have an advantage over their opponent is just mind blowing. The margin for error is so small that in a split of a second you can gain or lose everything. All of that is so fascinating for me.

What I liked most about F1 was honestly your championship because my entire family was supporting Lewis and I was the lone supporter and got super happy at the end of 2016 and I was only around 10 years old then. I seriously loved it and you were the first driver I had ever supported all the way to your retirement, and beyond! I especially watch and like alot of your videos over many social platforms such as RU-vid and Facebook. Thanks for being such a great driver Nico! My dad even managed to get me a card signed physically by you when you came to Singapore F1 Meet and Greet!

SPEED; SPEED And MORE SPEED 🏁 Honestly everything. It amazes me how all the teams travel around the world with all their equipment and staff; the way they set up and at the end of the weekend disassemble everything and have it shipped to another country. I enjoy the speed of the cars; the personalities of the drivers in them; the overtakes between rivals… Not forgetting Toto and his headphone drama

The best part of f1 is that it feels more closely related to the fans that watch it, you really get anxious and excited for the drivers, especially with the drivers you like more, sometimes you feel the adrenaline in your body watching something that already happened, this is the ability that the formula 1 evokes on its fans, I also think it’s amazing the close relations between the team principals and the drivers, it’s like a father-son relation

One thing I adore about Formula 1 is how much closer it got our family together. After years of watching the race not only it become a family tradition and a perfect excuse to spend some quality time together, but also keeps teaching us life fundamentals: - never (ever!) give up: learned in Abu Dhabi on December 2021; - stay humble and keep working on it; - don’t take unnecessary risks, although without taking risk you can’t win 🙃 Thank you for doing these videos Nico. Please carry on!

I think one of the best things is not even the racing. The thing that made me fall in love with this sport over others has always been the people behind it. The stories, the personalities, the friendships and rivalries. Those things always defined this sport and it's drivers, and I love it for it.

As a fan of F1 I really like the structure of the schedule. It allows you to be a 100% into the sport without structuring your entire life around it. A race every other weekend is perfect as it really allows you to get into the F1 mood throughout the whole weekend, but still allows you to take your mind off it in-between.

The best thing about F1 for me is physics! I've always been into physics, at university I had a few physics courses but the subjects you get are very specific. Trying to understand the physics of these cars in different setups, different tracks, different weather is just amazing!

The best thing about F1 is the sheer amount of athletism the drivers have. The power, the toll on the body and the pure mental strength a driver must maintain. Plus it amazes me that such young talent can even absorb all the technical nuances to push to perfection.

What makes F1 so engaging for me is being able to get a feel for the physics of what it’s like to drive an F1 car through playing video games/sim racing and through watching the race onboards with all the graphic data overlays. There is no other sport I can think of where the average person can get so close to experiencing what it’s like to do the real thing.

I just enjoy to see how much F1 means to every single driver, and that the sport gives each driver a moment to never forget. If that‘s Ricciardo getting an 8‘th win or Alonso getting a podium. Simply lovely!
