Thanks. I watched this to take apart my 07 cx-9. I wanted the auxiliary input back so I had to take out the stereo and unplug the satellite radio connector and the connector for the factory Aux input was just hanging back there.
HI, I have a 2010 cx9, and today all of the radio button will not work, including clock button. I have checked both ROOM and AUDIO fuse and both are still good with continuity. Based on your experience, what might be the issue? and if there is any where else i must check before confirming radio is bad? THank you.
What does it take to replace that Bose unit with an aftermarket? Any special harnesses? Is it just a regular wiring adapter and dash kit? Sometimes the Bose units can make things really difficult when swapping to aftermarket. Does anyone know about this vehicle?
All I know is if you try to replace the factory unit without the right information you could end up with an alarm sounding through the speakers that nobody seems to know about 😅
I think you need a new wiring harness if you want to do that...I was curious as to upgrading mine and looked up images of the back of each unit... the nav system had 5 connection ports in the back where as the 6 disc cd player only has 2
Mark, what did you end up getting I just.bought a 2010 CX-9 ? Got a high pitched sound and radio crapped out. I have no navigation just a single CD player. AMFM What did you do?
