Great video. So informative. I bought one of those calibration slides after originally viewing this. Those "diameters" are actually for dots that are represented by the 0.07mm and 0.15 mm. The dots are surrounded by lines, two of which you showed in the video. It's not very obvious, being so tiny.

I noticed the same thing on my microscope at 0:30. The two scales on the stage don't line up. I just assumed it was a manufacturing defect.
