I need helmet size guidance. My head size measures about 58cm (not more). I bought an MT Thunder 3 ( in M size as recommended). I tried it out for a ride of about half an hour, and the helmet hurts my head like it's getting crushed. my ear lobes hurt too. The L size feels comfortable, but I am worried it may start giving wind noise at high speeds if the fit becomes lost with time. ( the shopkeepers said so). I wore the M size helmet at home for about 20 minutes , just sitting and definitely the head feels tight, and the cheeks feel a lot of pressure. Should I bear with the pain and the helmet will breakin after a few wears, or shall I go for the L size. I always wear the balaclava, and that makes my head size exact 58. Though am not going to use in future that way, I noticed that when I test wore my completely in-ear jabra earbuds with M size, it was very difficult to remove the helmet and my ear hurt as the buds moved. L size felt normal in this test.
