When he measured the track adjuster, would that be considered the "frame extension" and on the app itself when it asks for number of dry joints, what exactly does that mean?

Hello Christina. Measuring an UC is the same on HEX and Dozers. You are measuring the same components such as a link, bushing, rollers, idlers, etc... The real difference between HEX and Dozers is the way it wears. Dozers do more distance typically causing more of the wear on the external side of the components. A HEX machine UC typically sees more internal wear or structural fatigue because of the nature of how they work the machine. But same principle of measuring. Hope that helps. - Ron
