I know this is old but im loving this series, hope theres a big power generation episode coming up before we keep introducing more and more machines though! The Oredictionificator is amazing im playing All The Mods 9 and there are so many variations of things that I find but i want to just concentrate on one mod at a time and at the moment thats Mekanism so itll be awesome to change all my random ores over
The digital miner has a new upgrade, idk when it was added, but its the stone generator upgrade which lets the miner search for cobblestone if you really want some
The stone generator is use for the replace mod. When you configure the digital miner you can turn off/on the "replace" button. And just above it, you can put a block of cobblestone or stone (or something else but you have to put a chest with the item, i recommend you to just put cobblestone or stone). Now with this, every time the digital miner break a block, it will be replace by a cobblestone or stone (depend of the item you put in the replace). Btw you have to do it everytime you create a new filter. Sorry if it's a bit hard to read ^^'
@@vinc6721 that is the efficient way to use it, and it has been awhile since i played, but im pretty sure it doesn't only get used for the replace feature, you can genuinely set it to only minme cobble and it will. I like this because it makes for easy building blocks and/or replace fuel
you can make the digital miner mine for stone without that just use itemstack and put a stone or cobblestone Edit : additional you can use tag and do forge:stone or forge:cobblestone
is there a way to set a timer for a reset of the miner? i want to use it for a tree farm, but it needs resetting every few minutes, i know how to make a redstone clock if needed.
idk if its part of an update, but when I installed the digital miner in my 1.18.2 world it said it requires 1 KFE/t, how do I even get that much power let alone in a tick
As Herib said. To start it would probably be a lot of wind turbines and heat generators but then for a mid point go for the gas burning generator till you get a fission reactor
You would have to use an ME interface on a chest with the raw resources on a template inside then using a logistical transporter from mekanism send those raw ingredients from the chest to auto craft your item. Once that item has finished crafting send it back to the original chest and the ME system will think it has crafted and will be put back into the system. You may need importers and exporters in places but that is the main gist of it

I see you are still responding to comments, so if you see this, pls help I set up a digital miner, and it says it needs 11 kFE/t, which takes just mere seconds to not only overwhelm all of my generators(which only produce mere hundreds of FE/t - but it also drain all my powercubes dry. What do I even build for it to make so much evergy? Biofuel reactors won't carry me this long, and to beat it with wind turbines I would have to construct 140 of them. Gas burner drinks fuel like Thor, with one massive sip, and I have no idea which fuel to use and how to get quantity that lets it run for at least a dozen minutes
i'm not the OP, but you might want to look into a gas-burning gen that's hooked onto something that can continuously generate biofuel maybe a crusher that crushes flowers?
The next step is a fission reactor and steam turbine after using gas burning generators. You can use the energy upgrades also to make them more efficient
