this man said color snare... ... in all seriousness awesome stuff tho dude really coo stuff, honestly really nice metallic sounds, and resampling actually makes a lot of sense here
I just want to know where people get information before a youtube video and learn to understand synthesis so vastly and intricately at a fast pace at a young age. Like i have time but this level of advanced information is mighty impressive.
@@dnksaus good question tho - do you have any advice on where to get the basics of sound design and learn how to come up with idea yourself instead of following tutorials step by step? thankss
Thnks for the tutorial man but when i tried to replicate it in Ableton it doesn´t make this same "percussive sound". It's like the phaser-flanger either glitches the whole effect chain or something because the only thing i get is a high pitched horn sound. When i turn it off it goes back to the percussive sound that you shaped in the Operator.
I thought I saw you had a drum sound design tutorial (only drum sound design tutorial you’ll ever need) but I can’t find it… if I’m not trippin and you do , can you share a link? I promise I’m not being lazy I keep looking through your content and can’t find it
anyone know a way to do this with anything other than ableton plugins? the grain delay is what really makes this sound i think, any alternatives with similar parameters you can tweak?
you can make these with any short transient rly, the magic is mostly in the post processing (S&H flanger, grain delay, drum buss), so serum could probably help with transients at best but not super necessary
@@dnksaus i dunno if you deleted my comment or i just forgot to post it but its all good, i managed to figure out how to do this in fl studio following your advice. ty
@@aktw1234 def didn't delete anything but im not very knowledgeable in fl so not rly sure. basically try out your delay options and shape your drum with volume and transient shapers
just follow the steps with fl equivalent plugins, this isn't a sound specific to ableton and it's good to actually learn from the actual techniques rather than just copying settings on specific plugins
@@ermwhatdaheck yeah i figured that out after experimenting on my own a few months ago, the only thing that i really meant by this comment is not having a drum bus in fl
