Thanks for the info… the team in Aus need to pay you commission… as soon as I paid deposit I heard nothing further. My new car was due 21st April and still no word. You are a legend for detailing everything from outside to mg pilot… after a month of no word I’m excited to get my new zst and understand how it works!!! Again cannot praise your work enough 😊

Thanks for the info ... I have my NEW MG ZS Essence 2022 here in Victoria Australia. Picked it up from the MG dealer in Bundoora on the 21/9/2022 Watching your video help me with the car.

Hey again Jerry, could you please do a video showing how to use manual/sport mode in the ZST Essence? I'm not exactly sure how that works, how and when to use? No rush at all and totally understand if you don't have the time

@@JerryPanandCars Would you suggest cleaning ZST with a pressure washer? Or is it too strong for the car? I know that I have keep a good distance but I just thought to check with experts like yourself? 😊🙏🏼

@@carloestrada1504 power wash is ok for all the cars. Generally around or under 2000psi is fine.

Hi, thanks for this amazing video. I have a HS and it has similar controls as like ZS. So I want to ask that is the lane assist supposed to be off to activate MG pilot? Thanks in advance.

Lane assist can be on along with mg pilot

Brilliant tutorial on using the cruise control,but one question,when I disengage the cruise control,how do I revert back to the same screen.ie, showing my speed limit.it keeps reverting back to the pilot screen.

Thanks for your support! If your lane assist is on, the screen will always bounce back to lane / cruise screen when the lane assist is doing something. The only way is to turn lane assist completely off.

Would be good to know how to intergrate the speed control system that recognises roadside speed signs and regulates your speed to that via brake and acellerator to cruise control mode.

Will do another video on the speed control system in the future. It is a different feature from the ACC or MG Pilot.

For some reason the yellow speedometer light doesn't turn off for me.. Any advice on how to fix this?

Sorry which yellow speedometer do you mean? Is that the indicator for one of the safety features?

So, it's the pilot is not pushing you from one line to the other, the steering, works itself to keep in a middle line, like a normal person driving, right? Thank you so much!

Theoretically yes, it will try to balance the vehicle in the centre. But do remember it is never prefect and you will need to keep your hands on the steering wheel

Hello in my MG HS, Under the "Driving Assistance", I am only seeing "rear Driving Assistant", the "Lane Assist System" and "MG Pilot" is missing. Can you help me? There is the front radar camera on the vehicle, so I know its here. How can i activate those features to use the Adaptive Cruise control, and Lane Departure Warning features etc?

Your vehicle is not equipped with that feature. Check with local specification.

Hi Jerry, I tried turning on my MG Pilot on my ZST Excite but the light was only yellow and didn’t turn green. How do I activate it when driving?

Press the set button after. Check the first half of the video for tutorial.

Can we use normal cruise control rather than adaptive cruise control? is there any option to switch from adaptive cruise control to regular cruise control?

No unfortunately. There is no option for standard cruise control.

No, MG Pilot helps you steer, cruise control helps you maintain a constant speed.

ACC on any MG sucks, its so hazard to use.. the software make dangurage corrections then the car get confused.. can not recomend to use and of MG safty systems..
