Here We Have Created Two Different Websites With Different Domains to Show You Live.
As You See This Website Which Is Domain 1, Is a Ready Website.
On the Other Hand, Domain 2 Is Quite a Blank Website.
Now We Will Migrate This Ready Wordpress Site to the Fresh Blank New Domain 2.
To Do This, We Need to Install a Plugin.
Go to Plugin Section, Click Add New. And Search Wpvivid.
Install and Active It.
Do the Same Thing to the Destination Site.
After Activating, Collect the Key of Domain 2. On Which Domain You Want to Arrive With the Old Site.
Click Generate.
Copy the Code.
And Move on to the Old Site. Click Auto Migration.
Paste the Code Here.
And Press Clone Then Transfer.
You Can Also Choose What Parts of Your Site You Want to Transfer. Is It an Only Database or Only Wordpress Files or Both?
Here We Want to Move the Whole Website to a New Domain.
The Migration Process Is Ongoing. Keep Waiting Until Finished.

If it works for everyone else: I must be an exception (??!) : my Home page comes through nicely but all other pages result in a 404. Also, I no longer get logged into my WordPress site. Fortunately, my source site still works, the above only applies to the target.

Is this what I should use if I want to change the domain of my website? If so, do I need to deindex the old one (so google will not see this as a duplicate). I just want to have a fresh start on a new fresh domain with my content that is on the current one (almost expired) domain. Thanks for the video btw, it's very helpful and clear!

Yes, this process is for changing the domain of your website. As for deindexing the old domain, it's best to use a 301 redirect to let search engines know the site has permanently moved to the new domain. This will ensure that your search engine rankings and any links to the old site will be transferred to the new one. But, if you still want to completely deindex the old site, you can submit a request to Google via the Search Console. Good luck with your migration!

automatic migration is not working, manual back-up + upload from a site with 1gb site storage it only moved 300mb. I have deactivated the firewall & cache plugins as indicated. I am not satisfied, another plugin that does not working. this is the third one. I hope ill find a working one, if not ill go back to the old method. Thanks

You need to increase wp memory limit for it. Go to settings of wpvivid, then check the advanced setting. You will get php execution time / memory limit etc. Just increase them.

I ran across a problem with this plugin. Additionally, several of my pages' links stopped working after I moved my website to a different domain name using this plugin. I was able to repair this by changing the link using the database options. However, some layouts are absent and sections are rearranged inside the pages. CAN u temme how to resolve this?

This seems like a great way to use a website as a template if you already have plugins, templates, categories etc already set up on another website if you don't want to have to repeat the process again. Or even if you create a template for other sites for that purpose in the beginning. I just used WPVivid to migrate from one host to another and it worked perfectly...even with larger sites.
