I know this video is old; but hopefully I can get an answer to my question. I have a Kia Ev6 and I can mirror using AAmirror; but the touchscreen in the car doesn't control the phone. I am unable to select items using the car's screen but must make selections from the phone. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Didn't work for me, I try and at first didn't allow me to install telling me that need a new version. Later try again and allowed me but automatic updated to the new version. So fail to me.

When I start Android Auto it first says all google services along with android auto need to be updated first. So even when I install an old version of Android Auto it asks to get updated with out any other option! That means I have no option to use an old version! Help me please !!!

Hi, thanks for the video, really helpful. i have a question: all works fine and i do get my screen on the car display (full screen). but the icons (resolution) are quite small, and many applications are not showing full content on the screen, as seems the screen resolution is getting impacted, when i use AA mirror. can you advise how i can fix this? When you open on old version of Android Auto, it forces you to update to the most recent version. How do you avoid this?

You have to shut off Automatic Updates of apps. You can then select which apps to apply any updates on. This way you can keep one, some or all of them, on older versions.
