I ordered mine got mine in and I love it 🥰❤️ got cleanest truck in the fleet all the other drivers don't care about how there trucks look but mine in on point 😉
Update got my first shipment today I had to stop halfway thru washing the truck to write this bc my god idk what you put in the stars an stripes but its everything I was hoping it would be official review video will be once I finish washing the other side 😎
Good afternoon. I'm new to the detailing scene and started watching your videos about a month ago. Do you have to use two foam cannons with your Stars and Strips, or are you worried about cross-contamination of chemicals?
Hey bud i got this set up ,i got 5 gallon containers and added 1 gallon of product and 3 gallons of water in each container of stars ,and stripes ,just like u advised ,,im getti g real bad water spots that i have to clay bar my windows to get them off, what do u suggest, should i fill cannons half way and add other half of water .what do u think bud. ..my wife got me who set up heavy duty also got diluted in 5 gallon container 1 gallon of product and 3.5 gallons of water havent tried that yet ..got the double nozzle wand also and snake oil..just want some advice before i move forward .. did my hellcat and got real bad water spots..i used the blower to get water off once i did last rinse. Tks bud hope to hear from u asap..
Any recommendations on using pump sprayer to apply them? And what the mix would be? I wash at the house at times with a foam cannon, but when I wash at the company garage I can’t use a foam cannon.
what is your thought on using this product on gel-coated boat, or oxidized RV's? would it work good with some oxidized paint with years of embedded dirt and grime? curious. thanks
Now I ordered some of these to try and I don't plan on using the fiam cannons, but I plan on using 2 foam pump sprayers. Would I still have to cut them like this or is there a different ratio being that I'm not using additional water that would be added by running it through the power washer?
So the dilution to the vehicle surface is about one ounce concentrate each per gallon of water, or 100:1-150:1 roughly. However these do require a power washer to be touchless, at least on the final rinse to break free all the road film
@@waynenorbreyjr9371 Ok cool yeah that may work out ok then, I haven't tried using pump sprayers for this method myself but maybe this will teach me some new tricks! Be sure to do small sections so the soaps don't dry and rinse very thoroughly at about 6" to 8" from the surface
@@ChemXI'll agree and disagree. Better yet, tell me what I'm doing wrong. I've got some Bionic Bug marks that won't come off. Unless it's in the paint, the marks ain't coming off but the bugs are. Also the gravel road dust is not coming entirely off, even with a second application. The windows have a film, not tree sap, road spill, or industrial fallout. I'm mixed 4 to 1, 2600 psi and 3 gpm on the rinse and I rinse it less than 12" away, slowly, 2 and 3 times. I'm working small areas like one fender, 1/2 hood on a late GMC 1/2T, then the doors on one side. Applying from the bottom up, rinse the same. Do I need to let the Stars work longer than 2 minutes? Any help is appreciated.
3 gallons of water would run the soaps 20% stronger than 4 gallons if your tackling some rough stuff, generally you want to stretch the soaps as far as you can in your situation tho
Can someone help me out here?. Maybe I’m not seeing it , but I bought the 5 gallon heavy duty . Now from where the liquid pours out, it pours very slowly. Now I know I’m suppose to unscrew the white plastic top for the air , but there’s no hole or anything to cut .
@@ChemX supposed to be good with all soaps , but I have had some streaking (for lack of a better term) problems with some products. Would really love a touchless option though
@@ChemX I've used the typical stuff at the auto parts store, but brushless i have used tci 710 , worked pretty good on my other trucks but on my satin paint it leaves behind some film spots I'll call it, it will go away if I hand wash it with chemical guys but defeats the purpose of brushless washing.
When using Stars ad Stripes do you put Stars on first and rinse; then put Stripes on and Rinse? Or do you put the Stars on and then the Stripes and Rinse last?
That’s a good question man yeah you want the two soaps to mix on the surface of the vehicle so that they can shock each other neutral, so definitely stars then stripes right over it then rinse😎🍻❌💯
A foam cannon cuts roughly 25:1 on its own, to hit the overall dilution of 100:1 to the vehicle surface and be able to get good touchless results in a foam cannon 3:1 is a good starting point
