My "Headtorches on Infected" video: • How To Mod In & Add He...
In this beginners guide tutorial I'm going to show you how to edit your DayZ community server files, specifically cfgspawnabletypes.cml & cfgrandompresets.xml so that selected infected zombies will spawn in wearing a full ghillie suit & hood.
I will show you how to create a new "attachments preset" that will include "GhillieHood_Woodland" & "GhillieSuit_Woodland" so that your choice of infected zombie will spawn in wearing and equipped with both pieces of gear.
I also show you how to add more choices of different coloured suits.
The above info was believed to be correct as of DayZ Update Patch 1.21, June 2023.

i have a request if you could do some content on how to edit the traders in expansion market mod like how to adjust stock and prices what items they have ect. i dont really understand how the file structure works mostly. also if you can add safezones around traders how to do that? another idea is the expansion quests mod like how to make a custom quest.

You made a mistake, you said vest2 in the beginning but you use bags2. The hats are alright.

Strange enough, i followed it step by step, but zombie wears only the ghillie hood, but never wears the Ghillie Suit. What can be the problem?

Probably a spelling error somewhere. Try using an online XML validator to check.

Same thing on my PC they only have the hood up and I definitely don't have an error in the files I do something like this with the DayZeEditor.

Do you happen to use a ghillie mod that overrides the setting that allows you to use backpacks and ghillies together? I think that's the problem.

I followed all the steps but the zombies aren't spawning on my server. I am using Deer Isle, so I'm not sure if that matters. I had to make my own coordinate list using the deer spawns for Deer Isle and I did every other coordinate like you did for Chernarus. Not sure why they won't spawn in. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated! :)
