hey! I got to know you have attended this MUN conference last year. could tell me about it? your experience? and will this had any impact on your career? because I have also been selected for this year.
I was surprised at how difficult it was to find just basic videos about how model U.N.s are run. It was a breath of fresh air, then, to find this one. Thanks!
I'm an experienced mun-er and i must say that the community gets boring if you don't participate in thinking you would look "stupid" I mean what's the worse you can do... Support your opponent or put blame on yourself.... I mean guys don't be scared everybody is equally scared and nervous as you!
Thank you so much! One of the most common mistakes people make is only think about how _they_ are feeling, not realising that the other person could be feeling the same as themselves.

@@arnuvshrivatsa4427 i have my conference in 12 hours. How did you do? My school’s MUN didn’t really teach us what to do, so I have no clue anything about what to research or how it works. This is my first MUN conference
@@mitchelljung8889 sorry if I'm late and yours finished, but I did really well. I even got an award! The key is to just talk. Say your opening, and try to speak as much as you can. Your chair will understand if you are new, so it's ok if you mess up
@@itsbritneybish9656 it was decent. Majority of the people were as inexperienced as me but some people were really well prepared and had experience of upto 60 MUNs.
Stating "Present" only doesn't mean that they are not voting but it means that they will have the option to Abstain once the debate is closed and the committee moves to the voting procedures.
@@dabdabfelix7965 unless you are a country that is going to obviously vote one way like russia on crimea as the other parties can hold a vote while you're in the washroom and once a vote is started you cant enter the room

Such a great video! I have been a MUN coach in Asia and the USA for years and really enjoyed the clear explanation and the wonderful video samples. Well done!
Thank You so much Sir!! I am really grateful that I am ablke to found your video and learn the whole procedure because I am too nervous as I am selected in LSRMUN which is fully sponsored which means the MUN going to be tough but after going through your video,it is easy for me to adjust myself as it is going to be my first MUN.
Had my first training days for Brussels MUN and loved it :) I'm in COP (UNFCCC) and very excited for the actual conference with hundreds of delegates in different committees

This helped me SO MUCH thank you!! Question: Is each high school assigned one country by the Model UN? And is there only one speaker for each country (team)?
@@sristi7756 No but there’s no point anymore because I pitched the idea of creating a Model UN team at my school and the administration never got back to me on it lol and I have too much to do this year (junior) but thanks for asking
I'm a bit confused here: in the Security Council voting, if one of the P5 voted against, the resolution won't pass. But in the general assembly, it's by the majority with disregard to P5, right?
bro,i am in grade 6 how am I supposed to recognize each and every thing.i've been selected for the junior MUN debate. Please make a video or conment down below tips and tutorial for lower standard

What i need to speak there, should i talk about the improving health rates and all these or the decreasing ? I'm not getting the proper idea ? Kindly response to the above query. Thanks
