Thanks! Works great! I tested on extra dust caps before finding out brake cleaner works best. Paint thinner did nothing, acetone created a permenant fog on the black part. Brake cleaner simply removed the paint and left the dust cap in tact :)
off topic comment, can you review a sub from “Resilient Sounds”? i have ordered their gold series 12” sub and i was curious as to what you think about their over all quality.
Nope. The DC was close to fitting. But the audio part of the text was completely off. Would look shoddy if you did not remove the paint beneath and leave the white letters poking through
Matter of opinion. But that’s why I made this video. Without the logo there people can leave it black or put a sticker of a bannana peel if that’s what they want. I personally love the color coordination of How the blue logo matches all my blue wiring and blue LED’s.

Bro my sundown x8v3 subs keep breaking on me 4th time. The tencil lead wire broke in half. 2 x8v3 on a deaf bounce machete 2100 and one xs d3400 and a mechman 240 alt. Tuned and no clip. Box sounds horrible like it's. Cracked. What are the most dependable subwoofers you ever seen. Those dc you have there are nice. I want deep bass but. I don't trust sundown. At least not the small x8v3. I want to go bigger maybe 10s or 12s. Limited space
Sundown is usually legit man. That’s sad to hear. Sucks! Sundown, DC, B2, resilient sounds, DD, all good stuff. But may get a lemon here or there. But usually top notch
