How to Modify a Styrofoam Wig Head / Mannequin for Fursuit Making

And a part 2 by request!!!
In this part I take an even CHEAPER mannequin head and fix it up! I made sure to use even cheaper materials to fix it up, too. Everyone's got crumpled paper and old clothes lying around.
One of these heads I got at Hobby Lobby a while ago, and the other I think came from a place called Sally's Beauty Supply. I know you could find these off Amazon or Ebay too though.

This works perfectly! Thank you! I ended up cutting and glueing my fleece into my mannequin, and then stuffing up the parts that didn’t look or feel right. After gluing down the edges to make it finished, it’s really almost as if I’ve just bought one of those busts off of amazon! 😊❤ It just needs a little weighting at the bottom, but I’m SO happy with this!!

Hmmm, I might need to try that. I also often apply some foam straps around the wig head to adjust to the circumference of my head, since it's somewhat larger than the wig head.

Freckled Cat Creations it works about the same as my disheveled 3D printed one. The 3D printed one is useful and about the same but the looks are beyond chaotic

I’m crying cause I have no tape rn or 1 inch foam I’m at the end of my project that I gotta finish in two weeks ;-; IM STILL AT A FOAM BASE AND MY FUR IS LATE

But that aside, I was worried that the neck fur would look off or hang from the chin if I didn't have a model to make the patterns, so thank you for this!

i think i used like, 4 inch here? but it doesnt matter, just pile stacks of foam on top of each other until its enough!

Thank you for this! However this is too complicated for my ADHD brain so ima just wrap my neck and shoulders in plastic wrap and then duck tape :3 (don't worry I get help with it so I don't accidentally choke myself)
