M288 puts it in manual mode. M287 takes it out of manual mode. There I saved 5 minutes of your time.

lol. NOT HAVING TO DO THAT AT ALL SEPARATES GOOD COMPANIES FROM BAD. You are saying if it goes haywire to push a code in the remote and then saying that separates good companies. 😂😂😂

Motorguide won’t do anything for me. Just left me hanging with this thing not working right. It’s been on my boat for two years sitting in the yard because it made me give up fishing..

I am so sorry to hear this and no matter what, you should never give up on fishing! Fishing is what makes all of us tick.... I do not know if I can help, but I am here. If the unit is over 2 years old, I know there has been a lot of updates and improvements. Thanks for watching.
