I am looking at the ACiQ BTU 21 SEER ACiQ Platinum Single Zone Wall Mount Mini Split System and the manual calls for at least 12 inches from the back wall. I don't see any wall mounts that allow for that 12 inch space between the wall and the back of the condenser. Does it matter since it's off the ground? I would assume the airflow alone would be better having the unit mounted on the arms and not on the ground.
This is a common question for most ductless brands. It is important to have airflow behind the unit. A bracket can sometimes restrict you from getting 12 inches but if you have at least 6 inches it should be okay.
