Thanks for posting this video. I have an 8 inch Meade LX90 SCT and I am thinking I'd like to mount a small, wide-field refractor on the top, and your video popped up in my Google search. Seeing the options here is helpful. I am wondering if you find that you need to add a balancing kit to your setup with the TV-60, or if the TV-60 is light enough that this does not seem to be needed with your SCT mount?
It balance isn’t too far off since it is short and more or less centered over the rotation axis. It does effect it some, so you need to rebalance by sliding the SCT up or down in the saddle so it is balanced better. Even so, you can only balance it in a particular orientation so if you have it pointed a higher or lower it may not be balanced anymore. The bottom line is to get it as close as you can and be careful when you loosen the clutches so it doesn’t immediately tilt forward or backward.
