I'm just showing you how to move a heavy or large sofa to third floor apartment by one professional mover. We already removed the back cushions and wrapped the reclining sofa.
Nice job man! I have a large reclining sofa that I need to bring up to my 3rd floor apartment. I'm dreading it, but you made it look easy lol. I can take the backs off of my sofa, and I have the wrap and appliance dolly i will rent from U-Haul. I just hope it works as easy as you made it seem.
Hey RaCeRx2285 Was the U-Haul Dolly able to do it ? I'm looking at a similar situation and I need to know if I can rely on the U-Haul dolly to get my furniture upstairs ! Let me know ! :)
To each their own. I've noticed you going round and round with tape, or stretch wrap with large loads. Personally, I always just roll with my appliance dolley and strap it in.
Nah, I "get it", it's a chance to ride the clock, its a show to the customers that makes them think you know what ur doing.. but all in all an appliance dolley is just as effective at stabilizing a load. It also has the sliders as opposed to skids. It also is more effective at going up a spiral staircase. It's a waste of materials and time.
Tony Cariello dude I'm was made heavy duty not like a little girl like you , I've been doing this for almost 30 years you know. I'm thinking to get retire when I get at least 70 years old lol
Ending up in ER after that is only for weaklings. I pick em up on my shoulder and go. Been doing it for ten years my back is in better shape then the banker working office hours.
LOL that is funny moving furniture is skilled labor I guess these days. "don't try this at home folks! these professionals have trained to years to properly operate a dolly"
