How to move apps to SD card Samsung

In this video, I will show you how to transfer apps from internal storage to sd cards.. First, you have to go to mobile settings. Now you have to click on apps. Now select the app that you want to transfer to an SD card. How do I use my SD card instead of internal storage on my Samsung?

Thanks brother. It worked for me. If someone is not seeing change, go to developer option and force app to external. Now change will appear. Some systems cannot be moved.

Select the app and select storage , you should find that option!

I think I have a solution. If you go on the files app (should be orange with a work folder on it) and click the 3 dots in the top right corner. Then click edit menu options. There should be an option to switch the destination to the S.D card. Hope this helps!

Got to developer option--> click allow apps for external. Now go to apps and then the change button will pop up

This worked for me if you cant see "change": you need to open developer options and force app to external, it worked on me

There are no problems with SIM card. But regarding SD cards it appears a problem in inserting SD cards. Some SD cards are not displaying themselves always. My SD card problem is dragging on for more than six months.

@@merlebump5328 i realised that there is a change button, but only for very limited apps so you would probably go through 30 apps to only find 5 with the change button

@@aarushikishore1417 no, it only works with apps you have installed, *AND (MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS/HAVE IT)* have developer options. Only then will it show up

For me too there wasnt the change button i just reset my phone and tried again and it was here. Hope that helps

But how do I play audio that is stored in the SD card?? It keeps telling me go to app store and download an app to listen to audio but I already have that on my phone 📱 📲 so it makes no sense. Can someone help please? 😢

Same, it still says the game is installed on internal while the sd says nothing. Even though when I go into app settings, the app itselfs states it is in sd

But how can you share files from sd card onto social media apps or WhatsApp? Sd card content doesn't come up or detected when I want to upload a photo or a video through Instagram/ Facebook/ WhatsApp unless I open the sd card storage directly on my phone to share a certain file onto one of the apps I'd want to upload it to and it's very uncomfortable.

My problem isnt the button not appearing but a bit after making the app move it says there isnt enough space and cancels, even though there is MORE than enough space
