first of all cars need battery to start the car...if the car battery was dead even key ignition type car wont start..in a car ignition system rotating a key or push a button is like switch...by pressing or twisting it completes the total circuit & thus the circuit is completed & current passes through that circuit,goes to spark pug via distribution coil & then spark plug then ignites the air fuel mixture.....key type ignition or push button start are just like switches in our houses...if there is no current there will be no lights in our room....u can say that if there is no battery in push button start car then there would be some problem...but for that case also u can start the car....
