Not to mention human beings are meant to move like this it’s in our anatomy they say it’s not designed for that movement but it is. Just not as well as it used to be as we have stopped doing so and our legs being longer encourages our bipedalism. We are apes tho. We still can move like that. It just takes more skill now rather than doing so son average

Ever since I started rock climbing and broke my fear of heights about a year ago, I've been obsessed with climbing and swinging around on stuff. I'll climb up street lights or water pipes and stuff when no one is around to call the cops. Once you get that strength and agility, it's too much fun!
@dragonlord1861
@dragonlord1861 4 года назад
How' you break your fear?
@bloodruststaples
@bloodruststaples 4 года назад
@@dragonlord1861 I had to mentally push myself. Primitive at best, and it was tough. Matter of fact it still is, trying to keep that mindset. I took that "don't look down" thing very seriously and avoided it as much as possible. Just look at the objective, and tell yourself to keep moving. I said to myself if I didn't move, I wouldn't get to a stable platform, so I had to do something or I'd be stuck. I also find it much more comforting when something isn't suspending me in the air, like I have complete control over my stability. I want mechanical devices being my safety net, not my device transporting me. I absolutely hate roller coasters and gondola rides, but I'll climb a rock wall or a tree no problem (as long as I have some sort of safety device). I'll probably never be able to react fast enough if a mechanical device breaks or fails, and if it does, that's probably it. If I'm the one holding on to something stable, my equipment and surfaces should be more than strong enough to support my leverage, so the only reason I should fail is because of ME.

@Joseph Martinez if you wanted to do the rock climbing thing but not go too high, there are indoor places that have advanced courses that don't necessarily go very high.
@bloodruststaples
@bloodruststaples 4 года назад
@Joseph Martinez For me it was always the idea that I was relying on the gear to hold me up, but that wasn't the case. I still hate gondolas and rolled coasters though. If they fail, that's it. At least in a tree or on a rock face, I can have more points of contact. I prefer to be the one holding me in the air. I feel as if I have more control over if I fall or not.

@muyMantisman Your better off learning actual self defense while it isnt as pretty its more effective. What i mean by actual self defense is eye gouging or low blows plus controlling fear it seems cheap but if your life is on the line and if someone is attacking you and starts choking you out from behind you these martial arts arent going to protect you. Your attacker isnt going to fight fair so why should you risk your life and fight fairly
