Hey mate, your response to one of my comments on another video brought me here! I've actually performed mentalism and trained as a magician, so yes I can say that you're 100% right - these are just mentalist tricks. I'm fine with him doing tricks, I just object to the lies about being 'psychic' or 'reading body language'. That's why I admire Derren Brown who achieves the same effects BUT starts his show by saying 'I am NOT psychic'. I know some people think this guy has SUPERNATURAL abilities, but I always ask people this one simple question: _If YOU could REALLY had a SUPERPOWER to move objects with your mind, would you really just be an entertainer only moving people's spectacles, just spectacles and nothing more than spectacles?_
@@WiseUncle Yeah! Uri Geller tried the same sort of bs, as if he was some kind of 'secret' spy. Which of course makes NO sense then to go public with your abilities on world tv! I mean, I can just imagine that conversation: SPECIAL FORCES CAPTAIN: OK Lior, we need you to be a secret agent for us, using your secret superpowers to help us in our secret missions. LIOR: So can I tell anyone? SPECIAL FORCES CAPTAIN: No, of course not. It's TOP SECRET. LIOR: So I can't even tell my family? SPECIAL FORCES CAPTAIN: No! You must DENY and CONCEAL your special abilities. The future of our nation depends on it. LIOR: Can I earn a few extra dollars by moving people's spectacles on Breakfast tv? Did you ever see anyone else saying Lior is not allowed into casinos but Lior himself and people that quote him? No casino was ever known to not let him in. That's BS. About him hired by Israel "Mosad" intelligence it's just a stupid rumor. I never saw him say that and it would not be known to the world if it was true.

Could you do the trick where he asks the mark to pick a word from a newspaper? There's several clips where he has some kind of device in his hand he uses while guiding the marl to pick a word Love the channel, thanks!

You got it! Hence you are super wise. I knew this trick. No research needed. What’s in his hand is a square frame with a paper with a word in it. When you put it on a page it looks like you are seeing the page below but you are seeing that piece of paper, and the word that you see is that word. Was I clear? Try to look at the videos again with that information and tell me if you agree. Cool?
@@WiseUncle Hmmm I'm not fully convinced that's what it is, because the person he's guiding could just look at the frame and see the words not changing as they move over it and also I think he gives them the choice to change the word to something else so it would have to be something less obvious don't you think?
Yes, he says he is just a magician but has all those mental power, not paranormal powers, like Uri Geller, yet, they are both simple crooks since they claim to be something they are not.
@@WiseUncle exactly. He says he doesn't have supernatural powers but then gives you the other bulshit of NLP, and reading people's bodylanguage and psychological mind games. Same lie in a different wrapping.
Amazing 😉 My real guess is a small detonator. But because it's super obvious that it's not really with the mind I haven't researched it. There is nothing to prove.
This is a good and quite fair trick from him and other magicians. It's not like the guess trick which is actually quite bad and insulting considering how it's done. Maybe magicians should not over lie about their abillities.
@@WiseUncle definitely not, i think he even said telekenisis at some time :)). But i think this is somewhat comparable to card magicians saying that they use magic when they already know people know it's only sleight of hand.

You are %100 right but I think I 100% proved he doesn't have super powers. (people just don't have super powers). This "some people use more then 12% of their brain" is fiction. Just like mentalism.
@@WiseUncle I need to check it out but I think that in every single interview he made, in every single interview he Emphasized that he doesn't have super powers and that anyone can do what he does, just not as good as him. Correct me if i'm wrong
