@@BenClaremont Nice! Looking forward to trying this. Just waiting on my Z1. Just a theory, but I was thinking it might be useful to use the HDR bracketing with the same exposure across each bracket as this should act as short burst like the GoPro does.
Do you think you could do a video of you jumping in the air in the _lotus_ position? Try as I might I cannot get my legs under me before I fall back to the ground.
When I first saw your post on Instagram, I was totally blown away! A great shot, indeed and it's great to see how much effort goes into getting that one perfect shot!
Thank you so much Ben - very nice tutorial! Besides the right timing, you nailed it with the distance from the camera - don't know about the rest of you guys, but at least that is challenging for me lol I try to tackle it with taking multiple shots with different distances and angles - still having trouble to foresee what would best come out in post processing... Anyway, these cameras are absolute fun! @Ben: thanks for building 360 community up, you certainly was one of the guys to make me buy one of these! Have fun, MC
Hey Ben, I’m hoping you can help me. I have the Insta360 One X and do all my editing using their app as I don’t have a computer. I’ve tried everything to make an inverted planet but it keeps automatically snapping to a tiny planet. What am I doing wrong that I can make an inverted planet photo or video? Thanks in advance! Thrilled to have found your channel and am enjoying working through them all!
@@BenClaremont I fixed it. My Samsung Evo Plus u3 128gb card is apparently not as fast as a sandisk extreme 128gb u3. I have had issues with the samsung's speed in other cameras actually now that I think about it, usually results in dropped frames afaik.
I'm using the iOS version of the Insta360 One X app, and I cannot adjust video to the "rabbit hole" view like you have it at 1:29. (I can get the normal tiny planet, but not the inverted or rabbit hole effect.) Am I missing something or is this an iOS quirk? I can do it in the desktop app, but I'd like to use the phone for quick social posts.
hi, thx a lot, really interesting content!!! i tried but cannot find the 'right moment' for the jump with the timer (3 seconds) and i think the video resolution at 50 or 100fps is too low... any idea to have a perfect timed shot? thx again, best regards
Ben Claremont i’m using a insta360 one x... i’m a newbie in 360 world, i filmed on 100fps as U suggested but the picture cropped in square is very small (around 700x700 pixels)... thx a lot for your answer, really apreciated!☺️
In the shot you can lose a few pounds! (Jumping). 😂🤪😉 Your videos are very professional and yet humorous. And never boring. And your positive attitude is very pleasant. You should moderate your own TV show. 👍👏 The only pity that the videos are not provided with German subtitles. 😔😔
Yeah you can try using "Auto-translate" on RU-vid to turn the English into German subtitles. There's also websites devoted to translating videos, you could try your luck with one of those (I've used votch.tv and it's good, I'm sure there's a bunch more if you search for them).
Instagram: Exists and gets rightly excited about Mr Ben's latest shot. Ben Claremont: Exists and is exhausted after spending half-an-hour jumping around in the middle of a field.
I have done a lot jumping shots and never used the video mode before. Seems to easy :p You missed to show a #moonjump over the camera ;) And real HDR is not really useful, I guess. Taking multiple photos won't be fast enough and you get blurred...
yeah, the timer and without HDR of course. The timer and jumping and trying to catch the moment make fun hehe. But it was not important in this short of the flying plane. Did you try something like that? awesome experience to do it, especially when the police come to you after that hehe instagram.com/p/BhC2kQ8HdlW/ Would be nice if you give me your opinion, because I think, something is wrong with the colors. It was tooooo sunny that day
I love your tutorials but a lot of your hand gestures are like you're hitting me in the face. I doubt you talk to people IRL like this, but if you tone it down your videos will be easier to watch.
love your 360 photos, last time i made a comment about your vlog poor skin tone but maybe it was not a skin tone problem but just a lighting problem, here is a side by side comparison feel free to evolve or to ignore ibb.co/K9tCt1W, respectfully yours ;)
Thanks for the suggestion- i see what you mean. It’s weird because the skin tones look fine after I colour correct but the export settings (I use the RU-vid 4k preset in Premiere) changes them a bit. Maybe I need to adjust white balance better when I’m shooting too 👍
